Magandang araw po! Tanong ko lang po sana yung case ng kaibigan ko. Di po naaalis sakit niya sa dibdib. Para daw pong may naiipit sa kaliwang parte ng dibdib niya.

Nag start daw po yun ng minsan lumabas kami noon December, noong una daw pasulpot sulpot lang, pero ngayon permanente na.

anong claseng pain?

-Stabbing pain?
-Radiating pain?

Tas pag sumasakit ba how long ang duration?

Masakit ba left side of his body?
Radiating pain ba from left side of the neck to shoulder down to the arm?

May kasama bang pag papawis?

Nawawala ba pag binabago ang kanyang position esp pag lean forward?

Mahirap kasi mag diagnose at mag conclude kung ito ay Angina Pectoris ba for possible M.I (MyoCardial Infarction)
meron din naman kasi na sumasakit ang chest mo esp. sa may sternum banda and it is called COSTOCHONDRITIS
sometimes napagkakamalan itong Angina Pectoris possible M.I (Myocardial Infarction)

Mas mabuti bro, kung mag pasuri siya sa isang Cardiologist.
Ako nga rin eh, I am diagnosed two years ago, I have MVP (Mitral Valve Prolapsed) and I do have maintenance medication for life (Inderal 40mg) kaya minsan nakaka feel ako ng Chestpain.

Kaya mas mabuti ipasuri sa doctor....
wag mo nang patagalin pa dahil, pag ganyang claseng probs.... yung friend mo parang WALKING TIMEBOMB.
na di mo alam kung kelan sasabog. getz??

Salamat po sa info DJ, nabanggit niya sa akin ng napag usapan namin noon na na diagnose din siya ng MVP pero matagal na daw niya di naramdaman ganito. Pag iniipit daw niya sa part ng dibdib niya medyo di niya nararamdaman yung pagkirot.

I will convince him. Mas takot daw kasi siya mawalan ng trabaho kung may sakit nga siya kesa mabigla na lang daw siya, at least may insurance siya na aasahang maiwan.

Ako mag 3 years na, and I'm taking my maintenance medication (Inderal 4omg) mag 3years narin. Kung na diagnosed siya bakit wla siyang medication? dapat kasi pag na diagnosed na nang ganito, dapat merong mga precautions na, although according to my Cardiologist, na wala naman restrictions nito with regards to activities, Kaya nga lang dapat mag loose ng weight (In which ako nag-gain, ampp) Obese ba ang friend mo? dapat di rin siya pwede mag pa stress esp. emotionaly stress/problems.

With regards naman dito, According to my pre-assessment (Although di ako doctor, Just using NURSING PROCESS and kung ano natutunan ko.) I think dapat siya mag pasuri ng doctor, dahil sa na kuha kung impormasyon sayo, I think hindi lang MVP meron ata siya, kasi if ever magkakachest pain ka tas mawawala ang pain pag iipitin mo or di kaya mag lean ka forward abay Pericarditis yan. Kaya dapat at dapat na siyang magpa check up, mag uundergo siya nang ECG and 2D ECHO to confirm everything.

Hindi po siya Obese, tama lang po katawan niya, dati siya nag gy gym kaya pure mass katawan niya kahit mag 1 year na siya tumigil. Mga 9 years na daw siya na diagnose, pero ayaw niya mag take ng maintenance. Pwede po ba request ng PM DJ para mabanggit ko kung sino siya at makapag usap kayo para medyo malinawan siya.

ano lifestyle nya sir? smoker ba? drinker? history of "party" drug intake? exercise tolerance? M.I. (as explained by boss DaveTrance) is not a distant consideration, but we should first consider the age group, and the most common clinical entities that may affect each...

i'm thinking muscle strain (costochondritis) or reflux esophagitis at this point... but as all espiyas said in this thread, better go for a check up, a routine physical examination would be very helpful in establishing a diagnosis... possible tests to b done: ECG, routine blood count, chest xray....

stress testing may possibly be done also to rule out exercise-induced chest pain...

check up pa rin sir...
