Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones,Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison and now Amy Winehouse all dead at 27...

Her talent alone was not enough to keep her alive.  Happiness and contentment cannot be bought. From the turmoil of her life peace at last.



London Ambulance Service found singer at 3.54pm but unable to save her life

Police treated death as 'unexplained'

Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in London, it has been reported.

The Back To Black singer was apparently found at the property in by emergency services at 3.54pm this afternoon, according to sources, and her death is being treated as 'unexplained' by police.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: 'Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.

It’s utterly tragic that her demons likely got the best of her and ended her life far too soon. RIP Amy. You’ll be missed.

On Wednesday night, Amy Winehouse’s goddaughter and protege Dionne Bromfield performed
at the iTunes Festival and Amy accompanied her to the show.
She also danced alongside Bromfield as she performed, though she didn’t sing,
making this Amy’s last time on stage before her untimely death today at age 27

sad to say pero mukhang totoo nga yung age-old paradox called the paradox of happiness and pleasure: When one pursues happiness itself, one is miserable; but, when one pursues something else, one achieves happiness; that pleasure cannot be acquired directly, it can only be acquired indirectly. Last month, she canceled her European tour after a breakdown on stage in Serbia,
and a statement on her website read: “Amy Winehouse is withdrawing from all scheduled performances.
Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she
will be given as long as it takes for this to happen.
Earlier this week, she attended an event with her goddaughter,
but sources had told various media outlets that Winehouse was “drinking herself to death.”
