Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is the next currently planned iteration of the Tekken series of fighting games. The game is the second game in the series to have a focus on tag battles rather than one-on-one bouts. It was announced on September 18, 2010 at the Tougeki event. On Twitter, producer Katsuhiro Harada has stated that the game engine will be different from the one used in Tekken 6.
It will be released in Japanese arcades in Summer 2011, whilst release dates for other regions, as well as console versions, have yet to be announced. At the World Cyber Games 2010 Harada hinted that the upcoming console version might feature additional console-exclusive returning characters and bonus gameplay modes. Also on Twitter, Harada suggested that the release of the console version of game would take place between the releases of Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter.
so this means wala pang official announcement kung anong gaming platform (aside from arcade) nila ito irerelease. pero tingin ko ps3 and xbox360 ito syempre since mataas graphic resolution nung game...
i'm not addicted to tekken games (para sa kaalaman nyo) pero marunong din naman. tekken 2, 3 and tag tournament lang nalaro ko kasi yun yung mga time na madalas ako sa arcade. yung mga sumunod na releases di na ako marunong kahit may ganun akong game sa ps2 kasi di ko nilalaro. na-hooked up ako ng husto sa dance dance revolution kaya nawala yung fighting games sa vocabulary ko...
