HELP INSTALLING OS (XP)

mga ka espiya ka tulong naman sa problema ko,, may gnagawa ako pc PIII sya, IBM sya, iba yung BIOS setup nya, d ko ma iboot sa cd room.. patulong naman kung cno nkakaaalam mga kaespiya...salamat!!

Pre kung may autorun iyung installer mo ng XP automatic naman yun madedetect ng PC mo..

Pero kung hindi parin gumawa ka ng bootable disk then yung pagboot mo ng PC mo ireread nya iyung floopy drive mo. Pero hindi mo parin pwede i install ng WinXP kelangan mo muna ng installer ng Win98 pagkatapos i upgrade mo nalang to winxp...

may os na sya dati xp, kaso ayaw mag log ng normal sa xp pero sa safe mode pumapasok..installer ko auto naman, cguro nasa config lang ng ibm, hirap kc kapain... d katulad ng mga config ngaun boot sequence lang ok na..pinapasakit ang ulo ko nito, tapos n sana kung magboboot sya sa cd room..

install ako ng xp sa ibang motherboard, nung nilagay ko sya sa isa ayaw gumana, sa iba na install kc d ko talga ma boot sa cd room.. hayts sakit sa ulo tong pc na to!! pIII ibm naman, pero napaka hirap ng cmos config..waaaaa!! more help plssss mga espiya!!

first up, gumagana ba naman yung cd rom ng ini-installan mo? baka kelangan mo ng ibang cd rom...2nd sa pagpasok sa BIOS ng IBM kung ito ay bagong unit it's either
   
    * F1
    * F2
    * DEL
    * ESC
    * F10

kung medyo luma naman ito naman...

    *  CTRL + ALT + ESC
    * CTRL + ALT + INS
    * CTRL + ALT + ENTER
    * CTRL + ALT + S
    * PAGE UP KEY
    * PAGE DOWN KEY

nkakapasok ako sa bios configuratio mga ka espiya.. kaso d ako mkapag boot sa cd room para mainstallan ng xp...eto yung set up ng bios..IBM

Configuration/Set-up Utility

IDE Drives Setup....
IDE CD-ROM 0 options (compatible)(high performance)
IDE HARD DISK DRIVE 1 options(compatible)(high performance)

Press ko F1 for help eto lumalabas

Help for IDE Performance

The 'High Performance' mode allows IDE devices attached to the system board IDE controller to utilize any performance enhancement features the device may support. If an IDE device attached to the system board IDE devices attached to the same controller to not function properly, set this field to the 'compatible'. The 'compatible' mode will allow older IDE harddisk driveson IDE devices which do not follow the ATA IDE specification to function properly.

what that it means guys? pa tulong naman!! pano ko mpapagboot sa cd-room...ginawa ko na primary yung cdrom, slave ang harddisk ayaw parin mag boot sa cd room..somebody help me pls!!pakituruan pano e set para makapagboot sa cd room!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!
