Mga kaespiya patulong naman po. I bought 1pc Linksys Router na WRT54G para sa bahay namin. I have 1 server and another 2 PC's as client PC's. Hindi ako makakonek sa internet.

Pag kinabit ko DSL Modem directly to my pc walang problema sa Internet Connection ko. Pero pag pinapadaan ko na sa router ay nawawala na yung internet ko. I tried to setup the router using the CD na kasama sa box pero the same problem pa din ang naeencounter ko dahil wala pa din siya internet.

I tried to download the Easy Setup from Linksys website para ito ang gamitin ko insted na un cd pero sinasabi na wala daw madetect na internet connection from the router. I followed all the instructions sa manual niya pero wala pa din ako connection.

Ano kaya ang problema nito mga bro? sana matulungan ninyo ako. Thank you in advance.

ganyan din yung aking router na nabili...nagsawa ako sa kaka configure...pna third party ko na lang...yang shop na yan sa harrison plaza ko nakita yan....oks naman napagana nila router....

gawin mong 192.168.1.2 yung ip ng router... kc yung ip ng modem cguro is 192.168.1.1... tas disable mo yung DHCP... ganun kc ginawa ko...

configure mo muna router mo..including yung each port and yung wireless pra mgkaroon ng communication yung router and yung mga pc...

connect mo sya sa pc mo..then open ka ng browser  tpos type mo yung IP nung router..login ka as administrator..then macoconfigure mo na..

Step

1. I run the cd first (un kasi instructions eh)

2. I followed the instructions na sinasabi sa cd. Pinatay ko lahat ng unit ko. the PC, the Modem and the router.

3. Kinonek ko yung cable ng modem sa router, then yung blue cable na kasama sa router kinonek ko sa port 1 then sa pc na ginagamit ko.

4. Power on modem, then yung router after mag blink ng led's yung computer nman.

then i continued the instructions dun sa cd.

I tried  na mapasok yung configuration pero nasa default settings naman siya lahat.

192.168.1.1 yung ginamit ko.

Pero diba hindi ko pwede disable DHCP ko kasi i am using dynamic IP Address?

Kung i disable ko DHCP ko, i will need to put entries sa IP's, Subnet mask, and dns ko.

Kya i need my DHCP enabled. Tama ba ako?

bali yung server IP address yung dynamic, yung ip ng modem yung 192.168.1.1, tas yung sa router yung 192.168.1.2... di ko sure yung sa DHCP, basta sakin disabled ko... malamang, parehas 192.168.1.1 ang IP ng modem at router mo... kaya di talga yan gagana.. dapat mong palitan ang ip ng router mo na nasa range ng 192.168.1.2-255...

ganito gawin mo, make sure na may internet connection ka with the modem directly connected to one of your computer, now connect mo ung modem sa linksys (dsl or internet port NOT lan)  then access mo ung linksys using the default gateway (usually its 192.168.1.1) tapos aask ka nun ng username and pw, kung wala kang sinetup na username at pw ang default ng linksys ay username ay blanko dapat at pw ay admin (all in small letters) tpos makikita mo na GUI ng router hanapin mo internet set up. tapos follow mo lang ung steps dun.

Una disconnect mo lahat.

2nd gawin mo lahat ng 3PC's mo dynamic Ip

3rd restore mo factory settings ng Router mo

4th off mo modem mo

5th connect mo router to modem while turned off

6th power on modem

7th power on router

8th Wan config router (kung PPOE connection mo kelangan mo pa iconfig ito sa router before u connect your other pc's, meaning lalagay mo d2 username and password then cconnect ka sa gateway ng ISP mo maglelease sila ng public ip para sa router mo, if not PPOE your router will just get a public ip upon turning it on and plugging it.)

9th Config DHCP and connect mo na devices mo ( at this point kelangan makakuha devices mo ng Ip sa router mo na nasa parehas na Subnet eg. Routers Ip 192.168.1.1 subnet 255.255.255.0 dapat ang devices mo ay makakuha ng Ip na 192.169.1.2-253.)

10th kapag hindi nakakuha ng tamang ip ang mga device mo ibig sabihin mali configure mo ng DHCP, wc might be the case kung bket di ka maka net, Maari din na sa pag configure mo ng DHCP di mo naisama ang DNS, wc may cause no internet.

11th or maari din na mali ang config mo ng Wan mo, check mo dapat may public Ip at DNS ang router mo na galing sa modem kung ito ay PPOE, kapag hindi PPOE automatic dapat maglease ang modem ng public IP sa router.

12th wag malilito kapatid, two talaga magiging ip ng iyong router kapag gagamtin mo sya bilang router, ung isa public ip, ung pangalawa ung private lan ip, kung ggamitin mo lang sya bilang switch, di mo nakelangan ng public ip.

13th kapatid tandaan ung modem dapat naka plug dun sa WAN slot ng iyong router.

One more thing. Baka mali ang cabling.

eto po gawin mo..
dba mka.conek ka wen ur pc is connected straight to ur modem, check mo ip ng pc connected to modem..
*pg ang ip address ay 192.168.1.something den dapt palitan mo ip ng router to 192.168.2.1 tapos power cycle ka, modem tska router ung order
*pro pg meron ka username and password na bigay sau ng isp mo den set the router to pppoe tapos dun mo lagay uname nd pwd mo..
