congratulations to team pilipinas for winning an unexpected win over china. e2 un pnkamagandang nangyari sa team pilipinas nice work to all of team pilipinas players... sa team ng china e2ng sau   gun:: gun:: sa wakas tinalo rin nmin kayo  laffman::    MABUHAY ANG TEAM PILIPINAS!

uu nga credits to williams and alapag, williams for his hardwork, alapag for his heart we almost die na @ the 1st half. buti na lng nag kaisa ang pinas unlike yesterday against iran puro sisihan haha

accdg to chino trinidad, this is the first time in over two decades that we beat china. whew. what  a sunday pm. had a nap, had great sex with wife, then watched basketball over few bottles of cold san mig super dry. perfect...

sa totoo lang c chot reyes dapt sisihin sa pagkatalo sa iran, napaka walang sense un ginawa nya tuloy natechnical tuloy tayo. pero ok n rin npakalaking comeback ginawa ntin dahil tinalo ntin ang  very powerful china. kung magtutuloy-tuloy lng ang gnun laro ng team pilipinas surely malayo mararating ntin... 1-1 na standing ntin pagnatalo ntin jordan pasok n tayo sa olympics..

d rin pre... dahil china ang host country automatic na ang china sa olympics... which means what ever happens 3 teams from asia will qualify for the olympics...

    We all thought that Chot Reyes got called for the technical foul(myself included... I even blamed him yesterday in my comment) but according to Andy Jao(DR. J) and Trinidad during the game against China earlier, it was Caguioa who was on the bench who was called for the technical foul for yelling at the referee to whistle a travelling violation on the opponent. So the technical foul was called on the bench because of the heckling of Caguioa of the referee.                                                                  Anyways, I will reserve my judgement for the RP5 until after tomorrow against Jordan. We have to win that game or else this win against China will go for naught. Congratulations kina Alapag, Williams, Taulava and Raymundo. Sila lang naglaro ng buong puso at hindi natakot. Same cast fighting for us as yesterday against Iran. I hope di pa mamaga ng todo ankle ni Asi dahil 24 hours pa lang since na sprain siya. Bukas mamaga na ng todo yan. Anybody who has suffered an ankle sprain knows what I'm talking about. I hope they find some Chinese herbal medicine or Japanese stuff or kahit anong voodoo magic para magawan nila ng paraan sprain ni Taulava. Prove me wrong RP team. Patay na kung patay bukas.  Good luck and God speed Team Pilipinas!

wag na nating isipin kung ano pa nangyari sa pagkatalo sa iran...kung sino pa may kasalanan...hayaan na natin iyon...the best thing tonight, nanalo ang pilipinas at ang maganda pang nangyari, all of the coaches and players have learned their lesson very well. wala nang mga umaangal angal pa, wala nang mga antics, serious basketball ang nakita natin sa kanila...

let's just hope and pray they will maintain their composure, fight for the loose balls, good defense, great ball rotation, and a lot of heart.

GO PHILIPPINES!!!

pero dapat isipin din natin ang jordan-iran game...kung iran ang nanalo, do or die tayo sa jordan kung jordan nman ang nanalo kelangan nating manalo sa jordan at matalo ang iran sa china...dito lalabas yung quotient system...dahil under tayo ng iran, dapat lang na matalo to sa china at manalo naman tayo sa jordan by 6 points above...para makapasok sa quarterfinals(yes!quarterfinals) .

bale 8 teams ang maglalaban laban ulit including na yung nasa groups B,C at D

hanga talaga ako kela williams at alapag.. tama sila chino trinidad saka andy jao, sila lang yung nagpakita ng puso sa game kanina. williams with his hustle and alapag with his offense. yung ibang players hindi ko makita ang dedication nila.. sayang si helterbrand at caguioa, well mostly si helterbrand, tira nang tira sa labas. akala ko masisilat pa dahil ilang beses tumira si helterbrand from the perimeter na wala man lang pumasok. they should have gotten the hint from alapag to slash inside the paint and get some fouls.. hindi ganon kaganda depensa ng china kanina and they should have taken advantage.

may halo rin tayong swerte dahil halos hindi natin na-depensahan outside shooting nila.. sana lang they play more as a team bukas. i'm rooting for them..

Congrats sa Team Pilipinas!!  toast::

Despite the win, we shouldn't be celebrating too much. Number one, because we have a long way to go in the FIBA tournament. Basically, every game that they play is a must-win from here. Number two, we shouldn't really be happy with beating the Chinese squad because THEY ONLY SENT THEIR TRAINING TEAM AND NOT THEIR OFFICIAL NATIONAL TEAM in the tournament, knowing that they have a slot in the Olympics no matter what happens in this tournament. There is no Yao Ming and Wang Zhizhi in that team, remember that.

Anyways, sana manalo Pilipinas sa Jordan!! Go Team Pilipinas!!  bnana bnana bnana
