Modem Router = (Broadband) Modem-Router combo > PCs(wired ethernet or wifi)

some broadband routers are also broadband modems thus they can directly distribute internet connectivity to a network set up

DSL router at modem router... not much of a difference maybe in their name.. DSL and modem.

I think Modem Router is different from a DLS Router/Router! The Router is only a ROUTER that acts as your hardware base Internet Server and need a Modem to establish a connection between your ISP and your Internal Network. While Modem Router or Router Modem has already a modem integrated on it! woww! ang labu din no hehehehe.....

DSL Router:
1.  may mga dsl modems na doubled as router or may router function na.
2. (broadband router) unit na naghahati sa DSL conncetion mo para sa isang network.

Modem router:
1. isa po itong configuration; Modem -> router. eto po ay kung walang router function ang inyong modem. kailangan nyo pa ng router para split/share yung internet connection nyo.

anong klase nga palang modem yung tinutukoy mo sa modem router? pang broadband ba or yung mga 56k modem lang? wala kasi akong alam na router for 56k modems.

DSL routers are just routers...like the Linksys BEFSR41 or WRT54G series..it plugs into a modem like a Motorola modem or whatever.

Modem Routers are Modems that has the function of a router. A perfect example of this would be the Westell Modem which SOMETIMES has to be bridged in order for a router to work with it. "Bridging" the modem-router disables the router side of it so that it'll just work as sort of a pass through for internet connection.

kaya nga 2 binigay kong sagot sa DSL router. yung unang sagot ay kagaya ng Zyxel prestige, modem sya with router function. yung pangalawang sagot ay yung gaya ng binigay mo example. kagaya ng kagaya ng dlink 4 port router.

yung sagot na bigay ko sa modem router ay para sa configuration ng modem -> (to) router connection. kasi pag nagsearch ka sa net typing  modem router, ang ibibigay na sagot ay yung configuration na modem to router connection.

kaya nga rin sabi ko, malabo kasi or kulang yung pagkakatanong.

2. router lang
3. modem to router configuration eto yung bridge mode ang modem tapos kakabitan pa ng router
4 modem with router function <- eto lang yung di ko nabigay na sagot kanina

sigurp naman nagets mo na sa dami ng resposes sa inquiry mo, if magulo pa rin punta ka sa PC parts shop and ask the technitians kc lahat ng reply sa tanong mo malinaw na sagot
