DSL routers are just routers...like the Linksys BEFSR41 or WRT54G series..it plugs into a modem like a Motorola modem or whatever.
Modem Routers are Modems that has the function of a router. A perfect example of this would be the Westell Modem which SOMETIMES has to be bridged in order for a router to work with it. "Bridging" the modem-router disables the router side of it so that it'll just work as sort of a pass through for internet connection.
kaya nga 2 binigay kong sagot sa DSL router. yung unang sagot ay kagaya ng Zyxel prestige, modem sya with router function. yung pangalawang sagot ay yung gaya ng binigay mo example. kagaya ng kagaya ng dlink 4 port router.
yung sagot na bigay ko sa modem router ay para sa configuration ng modem -> (to) router connection. kasi pag nagsearch ka sa net typing modem router, ang ibibigay na sagot ay yung configuration na modem to router connection.
kaya nga rin sabi ko, malabo kasi or kulang yung pagkakatanong.
