LOWER FIREFOX MEMORY USE (GREAT!)

Worked on me. From 137 MB, went down to 85 MB.
Tabs open are 20.  bnana

1. Go the address bar of firefox (where the “http://” usually is entered) and type: about:config

2. Look for “browser.cache.disk.capacity” and click on it.

3. Change the default 50000 to a lower value. It was recommended that if you have 512Mb RAM, you should set it to 15000.

4. Restart Firefox.

according to the orig post, if ur ram is between 512-1g, u can change it from the default 50000 to 15000.

If lower than 512MB, a would assume that u may also set it to 15000 or even lower  ;)

yung sa akin, 256 memory ko, nilagay ko lang sa 7500.

kung ang 512 = 15000 ang kalahati ay...
256 = 7500 laffman::
