How do I change my IP address?

I was playing my dota at pogz.net a battlenet server provided by the pldt, suddenly my modem restart and i was banned from leaving i already posted in their forum about my ip address banned i have also read the other problems that is same as mine i am wondering is there a way to change my ip address? [based on forum my problem is ip banned] pls help?

naku mukhang mahirap yan, pero madali lng pag may pera ka, ganito yan sa palagay ko, yung ip mo, ip mismo sa ISP mo yan which is sa PLDT, kung na ban ang IP mo sa battlenet ibig sabihin kailangan mong mag change nang IP, pero kung dynamic ang IP mo means permanent na ang IP mo, pero pwede ma change ang IP na yan kung mag re-request ka, pero may bayad cgurado ako nyan, pero kung static nag che-change ang IP mo nyan, pero d ko sure kung pati sa ISP nag che-change din, bsta ang alam ko ang IP na kinuha nang battlenet is sa ISP mo nde sa PC mo mismo.... cguro nag kalat ka sa battlenet kaya ban ka....

dial up? or dsl?

if dial up and card ang gamit,dynamic ip yan. the moment you connect the next time around you will have a new ip add

if dsl, ano ISP? pldt din? if pldt yan, dyanmic din ip add nyan. just restart the modem and you should have a new ip add when you log back in

from what you stated, i think you are using static ip. though i cannot be sure since you mentioned pldt. kung static ip ang gamit mo, you cannot change your ip add unless you request from the ISP itself.

DSL gamit ko PLDT cya i try to restart the modem pero ganun parin ip add nya? how do i now if static or dynamic ip add ko?

anong package yan? most pldt dsl package (especially the non business ones) are dynamic IP

Im Using Plan 1500 modem ko zyxel prestige 600 series wala na ba chance ito?

nope indi po me nag kalat sa battle.net i follow there rules about not leaving no trash talker it just happens ng restart modem suddenly i was ip banned for leaving

pare di ko alam kung bawal to sa thread na to..pero share ko lng kung anong ginagawa ko especially pag nag DL ako sa rapidshare (wala akong premium account). u can change ur IP address using this.

yup hide ip is good, but matagal mag start young web browser kasi mag hanap pa ng diferent ip for you to use.

Just to clarify,

Dynamic IP---> nag papalit ang IP address mo palagi (not sure kung gaano katagal, others-2days, or pag nagrestart ka ng modem)

Static IP---> meron ka IP address na naka assign sayo, hindi magpapalit IP mo, kahit ano gawin mo (except request from your ISP)

Usually, business cu lang ang may kailangan ng static IP. For hosting purposes. Pero pwede rin magkaroon ang residential. Lalo na pag nauto ka ng sales rep. May additional charge ang static IP. So pag mag static ka, papa convert mo sa dynamic... wala dapat bayad, Mas mura kasi dynamic. I dont think Hide-my-IP will work. Proxy server lang kasi to. You have to configure your browser para maka kumonect muna sa server nila before router to other sites. Making the connection very very slow, e ang Battlenet requires a high bandwidth.
Suggestion... ask PLDT if you have a static IP. If yes, have it changed to dynamic. pag di pa gumana, Try uninstalling and reinstalling DOTA. Im assuming na battlenet might be sending a small packet of data sa pc mo para i-identify ka. Same way na gumagana mga cookies sa browser.
