correct, Blu-Ray DVDs are the latest and top of the lign media with a hell of a whole lot of anti piracy securities such as a Liquid ID like system where a certain liquid is placed in the production of the BD-discs that only a BD-Rom/RW can identify, and read this that 1 black BD-Disc costs $48, and games will cost $60-70:

But if you've gotsa have the latest and greatest, or just would like to find something nifty to do with that new Blu-ray drive of yours, it doesn't get much hotter than 2x 50GB discs with AccuCORE protection. Sony is still promising rewriteables for later in the year -- these discs are just write-once -- and we're guessing prices won't stay so lethal forever."
