My main editing/gaming PC boasts the following features:
Intel Core-i7 4790K 4GHz (stock clock speed - not a fan of overclocking)
MSI Gaming Motherboard Z-series (this board has Crossfire tech but I am not using it; also has 7.1 SoundBlaster surround)
16Gb Kingston 1600MHz RAM in dual-channel
MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X
5 Internal SATA-III hard drives totaling 9 Terabytes (no SSDs)
800W True-Power Silverstone Power Supply
Original nVidia Tower Case (My very old case, with sentimental value)
Using only FANS, no liquid cooling or any shit like that
Blu-ray Writer, eSATA Dock, USB 3.0 powered hub, etc
All other computer-related stuff in my editing room:
Pioneer 7.1 Surround Sound system (installed in my editing room mostly for purposes of editing movies I make)
I have a NAS I built myself with IronWolf hard drives totaling 12Tb (totals 28 Terabytes across all HDD in my private network, have other PCs too and externals)
Gigabit Private network shared with all my devices with 802.11 n AP WiFi (Streams Blu-ray movies to our Living Room TV very nicely)
3 Samsung 32" Curved monitors (all color-calibrated) AND ACER 3200 ANSI Lumens projector (ALL connected to my video card)
In total, I invested almost 200K but not all at once. I invested about 80K first when the 4790K was released. I utilized some old stuff (such as my nVidia case that I bought together with my old GTX 570 Ti a long time ago). 200K investment over 4 years is not bad. I've made money off of my setup many times over by shooting and editing photos and movies (a big number of which are "espiya-type"), hehehe. I also develop software, Android apps, and websites and I use the same PC for those as well.
When I get bored, I play mostly AAA games such as Assassin's Creed, Sekiro, Dragon Age, Far Cry; I have about 200+ games in Steam alone and I have games in almost all other PC game clients (Origin, UPlay, Battle.net, Bethesda Launcher, GOG Galaxy, XBox Live (Games for Windows)/Windows Store, Humble Bundle, etc...
I'm sure you get the idea by now.
