what is with the number of users stated?  papaano pag ang nakalagay ay 10 users tapos 15 ang actual users?  any workarounds or limited lng talaga dun sa stated number of users?

im guessing the Tattoo modem will be configured to only limit/allow 10 Mac addresses so unless Globe allows users to access and modify this then the limit will be to the stated number of users

thats still not static IP (since home plans to), so basically its still up to scenario, which means they can still give you the runaround. besides kung kasama TV streams dyan, that 100Mbps is easily gobbled up (remember that 100Mbps equals about 12MB/s only)

tingnan mo ang mga business plan nila na static IP ang bigay, magtataka ka kasi ang baba ng mga speeds na offered compared to those offered for home (example na lang yung plan 1299 na yan, sa home up to 20mbps pero sa business up to 2mbps lang yan pero static)

about the number of users, walang limit yan, kung baga yang sinasabi nila is recommended number of users yan. if there are more people using than their so called number of users, pag nagreklamo ka na mabagal sasabihin kasi marami gumagamit kaya ganun

if this is true, yung current subscription ko with PLDT will get me a 30mbps connection with globe.

kung totoong lalabas iyan at walang counter promo ang PLDT, ipapuputol ko na DSL connection ko.

100mbps nga eh kung may bandwith limit wala pa din kwenta haha. di nila nilalagay sa ads nila like sa sky, muntik ko na paputal isp ko for that globe dsl not knowing their limited bandwidth.

huwag kayo munang magpapaniwala dyan

nakasulat dyan UP to Mbs kung wala naman kayong SLA (Service Level Agreement) baka makuha nyo lang 30-40 or baka 20 percent lang ng speed at madaling makalusot ang Globe sabi nga nila madaming users kung may wifi sila madaling sabihin mahina ang signal

una mabilis yan kapag maraming naenganyo babagal din yan

huaw impressive yung speed sa presyo ... may mga tanong lang ako... may kakayahan ba talaga sila magprovide ng ganyang speed sa maraming users? wired o wireless yan? may limitations kaya yung amount of bytes downloaded per month?

nakakagulat ang laki ng talon ng internet speed

 IMO, i think globe has no capability to go 100mb for net and home use. Even US has a maximum of 50MB for home.  100MB means the capability of devices for transfer.    THis must be a typo, 4k = 10mb probably.

i dont think aabot ng 100mb yan..   More or less "up to 100mb" malamang yan and its home use.  that means 100mb is not guaranteed because globe will just say that users within area's share the same "cabinet/router".. Pag wireless yan, mas intermittent ang line.   Malalaman lng kung guaranteed yang 100mb is if you have a "leased line".  Kasi pag ganun guaranteed ang 100mb , hindi ba-baba sa 100mb ang internet speed anytime of the day.

Kalokohan to..yung existing nga nilang Tatoo na broadband ang daming sabit..Tama yung nagemention re SLA pati yung caps sa Data...madalas di nila dineclare yan tapos malalaman mo na lang may limit pala yung data mo pagakatapos mong magtorrent ng ilang araw  ;D

well to those who are in doubt (including me) may mga actions naman sila na ginagawa, like last month, we've been receiving text messages from globe that they are already upgrading their lines,towers, etc. well who knows baka nga naman kaya nila, pag nagkataon tsamba sila sa target market nila sa mga tulad kong poor but looking for decent and reliable connection, but the chances of this to happen, very thin.

I know it's been said multiple times in this thread already, pero it bears repeating: Kung may monthly data limit, walang kwenta ang 100mbps. Ilang araw lang ng torrents cap ka na agad.

Kung yung 1Mbps nila hindi nila maayos ayos, yan pa kaya. Sa first week ng subscription, palong palo sa .5 to .7Mbps, fair enough. After nun, ayun....kalbaryo na. May server sila para sa mga bagong subscribers. Pag naka ilang linggo na, ililipat kana sa kalbaryo server. CRAP telco.

Alam mo naman mga telcos di sila tumatanggi sa applicants kaya kabit lang ng kabit. Kahit mga technician nila tanungin mo yun ang problema nila oversubscribed ang mga lines nila kaya ayun laging traffic, paano nga naman sila tatangi sa applicants eh di kukunin yun ng smart. Ang magandang abangan sa mga announcement ng mga telcos eh kung ilan talaga ang minimum speed regardless kung ilan ang users hindi yung maximum speed subject to certain conditions kasi pagdating sa area mo lokohan na yun.  toast::

kahit na ba hindi mo ma-achieve yung max speeds ng subcription ok pa rin kasi mas mura. meron akong tattoo stick dito yung luma na hanggang 2mbps, nakukuha ko naman yung ganoong speed kapag off peak. kapag peak hours 1mbps.

so kung 50% lang makukuha kong speed with their "new" plan okay pa rin. wag lang sanang capped, minimum 3gb nacoconsume kong data every day.
