Catarina Migliorini, a 20-year-old Brazilian woman, is currently auctioning off her virginity online. Using the website Virgins Wanted, created by filmmaker Justin Sisely who will be documenting the whole experience, Catarina plans on selling her virginity to the highest bidder and having sex with them on a plane in order to avoid prostitution laws. While this is by no means the first time a person’s virginity has been auctioned, it is unique because of it will be documented as well as because of what the woman intends on doing with the money.

Catarina plans on donating a lot of the money to her native Santa Catarina in order to build housing for the poor. And that is starting to look like it’s going to be a huge chunk of cash: not only is she getting $20,000 to participate in the documentary, she’ll also receive 90% of the auction price. This will be $164,000 total in the event that Jack Miller, the current bid holder, wins the auction ending on October 15th at $160,000.



The highest bid for the other virgin participant, a young man named Alexander Stepanov, is currently at $1,300.

Catarina says that she was tricked and exploited — and that she’s still a virgin.

She  told The Huffington Post by email that the highly publicized Internet auction last October, organized by filmmaker Justin Sisely, has turned into a giant fiasco.

“I felt I was a victim … I was misled by Mr. Justin Sisely,” Migliorini said. “I believe he is trying to defraud me and others.”

i wouldn't bet even $100 for that, but if twas for a good cause, then maybe i'd just date her then we can go together to where she wants to donate the money to. I once bid $300 USD to win a valentine date auction to an officemate, the one next to me just bid 2000php, i just had to win in, I still ended up on a date with the lady...and just spent 2000php, not $300usd...skillz
