Topic: Palakasin ang WI-FI gamit ang 2 router. Posible ba?

Ako ngayon ay lumalapit at humihingi ng inyong konting payo.

Ang kaibahan nga lang, sa bahay kasi namin.
Mayroon akong nilagay na BUFFALO Router sa may Office Room namin, nais ko sanang umabot ang signal hanggang sa kabilang Guest Room, Garage at Dirty Kitchen...

Last Saturday, bumili ako ng laptop na may free na another BUFFALO Router... Parehong brand at model.
Iniisip ko, posible bang lumakas ang signal ng WI-FI gamit ang 2 router na ito?
Ini-imagine ko kasi, yung bagong router ay ilalagay ko sa kabilang Guest Room o kaya sa Garage since yung Garage naman ay nasa gitna ng aming mala-palasyong tahanan...    JK

Ano sa tingin mo Espiya? May mai-sa-suggest ka bang gawin ko?
Ano kaya ang mga kagamitan na kailangan ko?

Check the router kung configurable sya into AP repeater...hindi lalakas signal rather pangpalaki nang coverage area...proper location is needed lang...

try to use repeater chief...and proper location too ng router mo, ms maganda kung N router na gamit mo kesa sa G router

Anong model ba yung Buffalo router mo? Do you know the range does it reach?

Option 1:
Connect mo isang cable from your existing Buffalo router going to the next Buffalo Router. Then make it as your second access point.

Option 2:
I will highly recommend to buy Linksys E-4200 it does cover wide range. I'm sure kaya i-support ang malapalasyo nyong bahay. Sell your Buffalo routers para may pang cover ka sa expenses mo sa Linksys.

I think any wireless router can be configured as a bridge..

pero mas madali kung meron na sa settings ng router mo to be set as repeater dahil siya na ang magcoconfigure sa sarili nya (as i know)

BTW im using 2 wireless router to extend my coverage the one that i used as a bridge is an oldschool wrt54g na may antenna ng linksys

Paps pwede yan, but not any router will work. Dapat may WDS or Wireless Repeating function 2 router. Mas maganda siguro kung mabibigay mo model ng router mo para macheck natin kung posible sa situation mo.

Hindi pala sila pareho ng model...      

BUFFALO N High Power (WHR-HP-GN) yung luma while yung free na binigay sakin ay BUFFALO N150 (WCR-GN)...
Ano ng gagawin ko?

you can configure one of the routers to be a bridge BUT this might require some additional settings to work properly (i.e. disabled dapat ang DHCP, firewall, etc)

to my knowledge lahat ng routers may option na gawing bridge. the new ones, yung sinasabi nilang wireless repeater not so familiar with that. luma pa gamit kong routers puro pa wireless G

101% pong possible yan sir and i know the right way to setup multiple routers in one connection where you can roam around your house without lossing your connection.. =)
