You need to do wrong to right a wrong? We have a legal and penal system but if we don't respect these and assume that vigilantism is proper, then, we might as well do away with all our laws.  It is painful to be a victim of a crime like what I have undergone.  Yet, I stopped my bodyguard before to shoot someone who did me wrong.  There is never a justification to put the law on ur hands.  If there is a defect in the system, why don't we all campaign to correct it?  The price of freedom is vigilance so we just hav to write and talk to our congressmen, mayors or police chief to do their job because we are the ones paying their salaries.  The system allows for remedies.  Collective peaceful mass action is another remedy.

Baket kaya "salvage" tawag dun? Eh maganda kaya kahulugan ng "salvage".

I agree dito ka-espiya:  Binigyan ng pinoy society nang ibang meaning ang term na "salvage."   Dapat ibahin na ang term for such an horrific act - mas ok pa ata yung term na "abduction" sa mga ganitong situations.

Btw, halos lahat ng mga nang ho holdap ay bata ng pulis.  Hindi kayang mang holdap nyan kung wala protection yan sa mga pulis dun sa area where they operate.  The sad part kasi eh may kotong ang mga pulis sa commander nila so they have to produce something at the end of the day.  Pag mainit na ang holdaper ay pinapatay na mismo ng pulis na may hawak sa kanya.

Yup I Agree its all about turf, at kung sino may hawak sa isang area.

This is an excellent question.  I hope that the forum will have more intriguing queries such as this.

Contrary to popular belief, the colloquial Filipino usage of the term "salvage," i.e. to kill, to murder, or to elimate, did not originate from the Anglo-American or British concept of the word.

Rather, it originated from the Spanish term "salvaje," which we all know means "bad" or "evil" or "wicked."

"Pare, ipa-[/b]ahe[/b]na yan" which can be taken to mean that the matter can be "fixed" by sinister people, has been made to sound like ]i]re, ipa-vagena yan"oughout the years.
