Im not a fan of the Aquino's. I personally believe that Ninoy do not deserve to become a hero, Cory is probably one of the most useless president ever, and I simply hate Kris. But, when it comes to NoyNoy's presidency, I actually think he's doing a good job. There are a lot of good things happening to the Philippines at the moment. A good economy is one.
About the Sabah Issue, It is in my honest opinion the the Philippines should drop that claim. It may sound "un-nationalistic", unconstitutional or what not, but lets be realistic here. Sabah if effectively a MALAYSIAN CONTROLLED territory with a local population that I don't think desires to be part of the Philippines, heck some Filipinos in Sabah actually wants to be Malaysian citizens. I don't see any possible way of getting it back so lets not waste anymore of our time and resources with it.
About Bam, yes, he lacks the experience. But he seems intelligent enough and given that everyone expect him to follow the "daang matuwid" slogan, who knows? He might actually do a good job as well. I say voting for him is like a gamble, he might do well or he might not. But I think thats better than voting (again) for people who've already spent a good portion of their lives in power and still achieved little or nothing at all, with new sets of plans and promises every election period without actually accomplishing what they promised to do the last time they ran. Besides, Bam Aquino is not the only one who rides along the name of his famous relatives. Nancy Binay and Grace Poe anyone?
