OT:
sa Feb. 6 2010 pa against Rob Emerson that UFC 109 featuring Couture versus Coleman

FTT:

Grabe ang laki ni Frank Mir from 235lbs last fight to 264 1/2lbs now
gusto talagang paghandaan si Brock Lesnar
(if Brock will be able to fight and win against Carwin)

  ;D

Penn is too good for Diego next maybe Frankie Edgar or another or if Tyson Griffin will win decisively on his next fight maybe him

i want to see Penn fight this guys:
1) Shinya Aoki
2) Urijah Faber (155 lbs)
3) Thiago Alves (Welterwieght)
4) Penn - Hughes 3
but at this time Frankie Edgar is the best and possible opponent for him. Frank Mir's new fighting form/shape gave him additional strength, power, speed and confidence. That was the first time i saw Diego drop down and get hurt badly and give him a SMILE in his forehead

wala tlga ktapat si penn sa 155., knkawawa nya lahat ng 155.. dapat ke bj 170 im sur contender pa din sya dun.. gsto ko sana penn vs guida eh kaso talo kc ngaun guida lage eh.., urijah faber at aoki wala kwenta un, cnu ba mga tinalo nun? unlike bj, (hughes, sherk, kenflo, sanchez, stevenson, gsp close fight, machida talo sya desision first time desision si machida, pulver) sbi pa ni randy couture nag grappling sla ni bj di nya daw mabagsak., tas pag nabagsak nya lage daw tayo.. 205 si couture nun... mgnda nga penn vs hughes 3, kc in my opinion nkachamba lng tlga si hughes sa 2nd laban nla kc di pa cardio penn nun napagod...

DON'T even think about it. BJ is no match for GSP, we've seen that twice already... He cannot sustain his greatness when he moves up to 185... He is at his best at 155...

Kung hindi niya ginawa yun it might have been a different story  :D

walang 145lbs sa UCF hindi na siguro kasi l remember Penn Fought Machida sa Heavyweight Lyoto was around 215lbs Penn is around 189lbs
so mahihirapan na siyang bumaba pa if you are beyond 30 YO
  ::)

From what I've read, it's mononucleosis due to an overtaxed immune system. I doubt if he'll be able to fight next year.

Regarding the card itself, I'm happy to see both Ken Florian and Frank Mir win again. Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg were right: losing to their previous opponents was the best thing that could've happened to both of them. Now they're buckling down, working hard, and improving on their talents.

Speaking of Joe Rogan, he mentioned that Freddie Roach thinks B.J. Penn is the best boxer in MMA today. That makes me wonder all the more what it would be like if "The Prodigy" fought Manny Pacquiao in a stand-up boxing-only match.

Mashado malaki si Penn, his height is 5'9'' and weight is 155 LBS nag trim pa yun  8)

Ang makakatalo lang kay Penn is a very good stryker with MuayThai skills and has good take down defense.

Or a very strong wrestler like GSP. But I think at 155 LBS, there no such fighter that strong.

cheers!  toast::

Frank Mir said that it would be unfair for him to face Brock Lesnar ahead of Shane Carwin so, personally, I think he might take a match with Cain Velasquez. That ought to be another interesting fight.

I'd also like to see a Mir-Brandon Vera rematch or a Mir-Randy Couture match, although those might be strictly dream matches again.

hay Vera na naman if hindi lang siya pinoy l would say l wouldn't watch UFC 105 main event Mike Swick and Dan Hardy is even more exciting...

If a rematch would happened Vera would have his bone broken into pieces that's 59 pounds difference nila ni Vera at Mir

naging boring na si Vera

Well, I didn't get to see the first Vera - Mir match so I'd like to see them fight again. Speaking of Dan Hardy, I wonder when he'll fight Georges St. Pierre. Or will he have to go through Josh Koscheck first?
