First Filipino to climb Mt. Everest???

Abs-Cbn featured a Filipino warden to be the first to climb mt. everest in 2002.....if this is true....he is one hell of a filipino.....no endorsements....no sponsors...no hype...only pure determination...pure guts....true idol.....give him the glory guys.....

Napanood ko na rin yan kani-kanina lang... Medyo nakakagulat nga.... Meron na pa lang nakaakyat don na Filipino eh wala man lang balita...

Teka lang bakit kaya lumabas rin ang taong ito sa ngayon?

actually guys gling ung blita na un sa NET-25 by Arlene dela cruz whos formerly anchor in ABS-CBN..we'll cguro nagkaruon lng ng pagkakataon na interview-hin kasi nga of the sensational topic...But w/ no guts meron n palang Filipino na hindi man lamang ntin nbalitaan...hahaha...Proud to be PINOY!!!

that's a good move by abs-cbn. naging network war na dahil nainggit itong channel 7 kaya kumurakot din ng team nila na makakaakyat. at least kahit sinong mauna eh di na sila ang mga unang pinoy na nakaakyat. nabasa ko pa nga sa news na yung pinoy climber (na dapat sasama sa kanila) na gustong pasamahin nung team na kinocover ng abscbn, nung huli siyang tinawagan eh di na siya nagreply, yun pala nasulot na ng gma. tangina kasi tong mga network na to.

Ariel (Arniel?) Aquino's claim to be the first filipino to climb the summit of everest cannot be fully verified. It is at best a claim and nothing more. He havent shown any pictures or even the statement of those he claims to be with him in everest. Anyone can go to nepal and claim that he had scaled everest and shows a passport to prove that. Too bad for him that he can't show a more solid proof of being there. Officially, it is still Garduce that may be the first Filipino to scale everest. I think abs-cbn just wanted to spoil gma 7's exclusive coverage. A really mature way to react dont you think? Shouldnt they rather focus on how to get the exclusive coverage of next year's government sponsored expedition of everest?

too bad...After featuring in TV Patrol they said that ARNEL AQUINO is not or never climb in EVEREST but the Mountain Near Mt.Everest but also in the Himalayas mountain ranges...Al though he gave some pix that be evidence to his climbed but not in everst as he said before...ABS-CBN discovered that in there research that AQUINO never climb EVEREST...tsk tsk...

for aaabbbxxx.... bawal pong magmura idol. buti nga sa mga hinayupak na broadcasting companies na yan! well if ever they climb the highest peak, di na gnun ka excite at ka glorious since my filipino idol na pla na nauna sa knila! buti nga! mabuhay si juan de la cruz!!

actually the race is still ON !!!...talagang wala pa pong pinoy na nakaakyat sa summit ng everest. si garduce ang unang pinoy na nakarating sa summit ng mt. aconcagua na nasa western hemisphere..(which is nasa himalayas din gaya ng everest)

Di totoo sya ang una sa mt. everest....ang katunayan nyan eh ako ang una.....naalala ko nung 1991 nag joots kami mag barkada at na witness nila na from makati to mt. everest naakyat namin in 5 minutes....oo nga pala...kami rin first filipinos sa Mars kinabukasan!
