My opinion, further unconstitutional means will take this country to the point where it will take a war just to achieve acceptable politics. I'm not saying that GMA is innocent or clean or what have you.. All I'm saying is all actions must be supported by the constitution. Otherwise, it will only further divide our nation and the focus or primary objective of our good leaders is, and always has been for the past administrations, to destroy each other's name.

If there's something wrong with the constitution, then revise it. Change it.

Prevention is better than cure. As history dictates, people will not accept a not guilty verdict. Heck, President Estrada's impeachment was not even finished. If the people don't know how to respect or will not respect the procedure or the law, why the hell would the president submit herself? For me, it's just setting things right.

we do have to set things right. so what are we supposed to do about all these scandals hounding the arroyo administration? somehow they are able to get around it. its clear they have done something wrong. should we let them get away with it?

i think we can all agree on this... politics is very dirty in our country.

It's not what you know, it's what you can prove.

Opposition failed to prove something if there's something to prove. I mean like in the impeachment procedure, they failed to convince their fellow law makers. Of course, promises and money influence the lawmakers' decision but I always believe that they will always make the right call.

Our government right not is like being run by mafia.

Powers is being gathered and shared by only few people. They can rob and kill and stays smiling on national television and pinpoint the problem on someone or to a group of people.

Pinpointing the suspects on wrong people will further subdivide the country.

Harboring and appointing corrupt officials will prove their intentions.

Executive department who keeps controlling other branches of government is another one.

We are on a democratic type of government, one branch must be independent on another.

GMA did all of these!!!

at this point, the only way that the Philippine government can recover from all the issues, scandals, graft and corruption dating back since the Marcos era is if all existing politicians above the age of 50 have simultaneous cardiovascular attacks or have strokes an no-one survives, te current young breed of politicians are too idealistic to do anything to devoid "Public Trust"
