Disk space problems =(

mga spies, help! masyado na kinakain ng windows yung hard drive ko. napapansin ko, kumukonti lagi yung free space ko. lagi naman ako nag-ddisk clean up, defrag at full system scan. im using norton anti-virus 2005. i have pc cleaner, spywareguard, spyware blaster and spybot search and destroy. bakit kaya nababawasan lagi yung free space ko eh wala naman ako iniinstall? i hope you could help me with these problems. thanks mga spies!  :-[

have u chekd ur temp files? or cache? dunno kng malaki nakakin sa cache but sa temp folder, may ibng programs na kumakaen dun.....live vid editing or audio editing.....

or try scan disk...para mbasan ka ng ibng certain files not needed....

gano b kalaki hdd mo? baka nasusobrahan kalang sa mga scandals mong nidownlod....;D hehe

or u can manually scan ur hdd nalang, n uninstall mo ung mga softawres n programs na di mo kelangan...n defrag karen men.....;D

dude, yeah nacheck ko na temp n cache.. lagi ko ini-erase un.. i have 4 hard drives, tig 20gb sila.. lagi ko din sini-scan yng disks ko.. lagi ko din analyze and defrag sila.. but ang problem ko lang naman kasi yung main drive ko which is c: kasi dun nakainstall ang windows folders..  :'(

eto ang kumakain ng space sa c: drive ko...

After you disable the auto update feature of XP you can safely delete this "$hf_mig$" folder in windows directory if u need to save disk space...

Marami rin kasing causes niyan eh may mga programs na nag generate nang mga temp files na hindi makikita ng mga cleaning softwares kaya dumadami sila in your hardrive and consume lots of disk space...

you can run a program for this... nakalimutan ko ano tawag dun. andun yun sa www.majorgeeks.com

it will remove all temporary files associated with updates files windows installed in your system

hotfix files are the updates windows install in your system... eto yung nagcrecreate ng mga uninstall directories sa C:\windows

turning off automatic updates will prevent further files from being installed in your system pero may dalawang drawback yan.

1st, it wont solve your problem. The files will still be there (yung mga nainstall).

2nd, you jeopardize your windows from attacks. You will have to check updates manually and frequently to make sure you are safe from risks
