Can Ashley Madison Enter A Conservative Philippines? Who Is Ashley Madison?



According to Wikipedia, Ashley Madison is an online dating service and social networking service marketed to people who are already in a relationship, whose slogan is "Life is short. Have an affair."

The website was launched in 2001. The name of the site was created from two popular female baby names "Ashley" and "Madison" with CEO, Noel Biderman.

Ashley Madison is a membership website and service based in Canada; its supposed membership of over 22 million members come from over 30 countries and now they want to enter a conservative Philippines.

According to news, DOJ is blocking the entrance since the site is encouraging to commit adultery. Trish McDermott, a consultant who helped found Match.com, accused Ashley Madison of being a "business built on the back of broken hearts, ruined marriages, and damaged families".

Are we ready for this or they are already here? Can they enter a conservative Philippines?

totally agree with you sir ungrateful scholar... one problem with our society is that it tends to live in the dark ages... i value the Filipino family but we live in a time where everything is almost accessible to all and that they should realize that...  banning one site will not stop others from looking for other similar sites.. my best solution is for society to reintegrate the core Filipino values to everyone... as to how. the Church should spearhead the campaign not only by words but also with deeds...
