VisaPoint website.
Most applicants applying for a non-immigrant visa are temporary visitors coming to the United States for business (B1) or tourism (B2). The two categories of visa are usually issued together as a B1-B2 visa.
How to Apply: To apply for a non-immigrant visa, each applicant needs to follow the basic application procedure.
At the time of the interview, applicants must bring the following to the Embassy:
A passport that is valid for at least six months and has at least one blank visa page.
Photocopy of the bio-data page of valid passport.
All previous passports.
Receipt from any SAMBA BANK branch showing payment for each applicant. (Please note that this payment is non-refundable.)
Print-out of the confirmation sheet of your online application
One photograph.
For a business trip, an invitation letter from a company in the United States
In order to demonstrate strong ties to Saudi Arabia applicants may also provide:
Bank statements for the last three months.
Letter from your employer stating position, start date and salary.
Letter from your employer establishing purpose of travel.
Processing Time: We recommended that applicants start the application process a minimum of 3 months in advance of their intended date of travel to allow for appointment wait times. Also, many applicants for non-immigrant visas may have to undergo further administrative processing which usually requires an average of two to six weeks. It is not possible for our office to determine before an application is made if a person will need additional administrative processing. Therefore, the embassy bears no responsibility for travel arrangements or flight reservations made prior to the receipt of a visa.
