Authorities claim that about 2,000 died at Ground Zero.  Present studies indicate that more than 3,000 have died in Iraq since the US invaded that country.  Eh, di quits na lang sila.  Ang advantage nun eh may dahilan ang US na gumawa ng gera and this was a boost to their economy.

For some Muslims, Osama is a symbol for the propagation of an idea.  Violence is just one of their means to get their message across.  Pag di sila gumawa ng mga aksyon that US considered "terrorist activities", di sila mapapansin.  It is similar to a child na magsisira ng laruan or wawasakin ang furniture para pansinin ng magulang.  Yun pagsira ng laruan is "violent" in itself but you have to consider the act in the context of a child wanting attention.

Now, yun pag lusob ng US sa Iraq is not only illegal pero marami civilians naging biktima ng karahasan na kanilang ginawa.  Yun ginawa ba nila sa Iraq ay hindi pwede tawagin na "terrorist activity" din? Pag Muslim ang gumawa eh "terrorism" pero pag US or Allies nito ang gumawa eh "in the name of democracy"?

Yun pagpatay nila sa apo ni Kaddafy ay hindi terrorism?  Note na hindi naman combatant ang pamilya.

Note na ang simula ng mga aksyon ni Osama ay dahil sa kanyang resistance sa mga palakad ng Saudi Arabia.  Saudi practices fundamentalism which is anaethema to democracy.  Living in Saudi Arabia is like living under a dictatorship.  Dapat ugatin ang dahilan ng kanyang pakikibaka upang maunawaan ang dahilan ng kanyang mga ginawa.  Sa ganitong paraan lamang makagagawa ng tamang paraan ng paglutas sa mga hinaing ng mga Muslim kagaya nya.

This is the reason why some analysts are actually questioning if the US did the right thing by going public with the information of Osama's "death." It may actually do more harm to its people and allies since this may encourage retaliatory attacks anywhere. They were even "careful" not to make an accessible burial site for his body to deter his fanatics from making a memorial for him. They acknowledged that there are indeed photos of the body but are still contemplating on whether it would be "wise" to release it as it may fuel more fanaticism regarding this issue.

*I even read somewhere that this is somehow quite similar to megatron's burial at sea. The question is are the people in for a "revenge of the fallen" type of scenario in the near future? I think it would be wise to be on alert since "evil minds" may take advantage of this issue.

Another point na dapat matanong sa kanyang pagkamatay is whether legal ang pagpasok ng US forces sa Pakistan.  Is that not a violation of the sovereignty of another?  Para bang may Pinoy na criminal sa Japan at biglang nagutos si Mayor Lim sa pulis sa Manila na pumunta sa Japan at patayin yun Pinoy dun. 

Aside from the question of sovereignty, tanong din whether legal na ang summary execution ng isang taong perceived ng public na criminal.  So pwede na rin lumusob ang NPA sa kulungan ni Ampatuan at pagpapatayin silang lahat dun dahil sa accusation na criminal si Ampatuan?  At dahil publicly perceived na nagnakaw si GMA eh pwede na rin pumunta ang CIDG sa bahay niya at imasaker ang buong pamilya nya? If US really is a champion of democracy and the values that it holds dear, wouldn't it have been better had the US observed legal procedures in putting the guy under trial and behind bars or mete the punishment to him after trial?

May mga namatay na Muslim din sa mga "acts of terror".  Pero meron bang ebidensya na talagang si Osama ang nagplano or nagorganisa nito? In politics, pwede din kasing gawa mismo ng CIA ito upang ibintang lang ito kay Osama at magkaron ng mas malaking budget ang military nila.  Note na gawain din ito ng mga pulis at militar dito. BTW, misnomer ang word na "terrorism" or "acts of terror".  This is a propaganda technique resorted to brand anyone na perceived na "kalaban".  In fact, wala pa nga yatang accepted legal definition ng "terrorism" or "acts of terror".

Naalala ko tuloy yun isang pelikula ni James Bond na nilibing sya sa dagat pero meron palang mga divers to retrieve his "body" at dalhin sya sa isang submarine. So announce nila na "patay" na so may gracious exit ang US sa kahihiyan nila sa lahat ng hullaballoo na ginawa nila simula ng WTC. May news report na una daw inoffer sa Saudi yung body ni OBL pero ayaw daw tanggapin ng Saudi.
Ayaw din daw magkaroon ng "shrine" yung mga extremists kaya sa dagat "ala megatron" sya nilibing. 

Mas maraming galit ngayon na extremists sa US, sigurado yan. Kaya nga naka high alert lahat ng bansa ngayon dahil siguradong gaganti ang mga extremists. I'd rather use the term extremists kasi hindi naman lahat ng muslim ay sang ayon sa ways ni OBL.

Pero masaya si Obama kasi tumaas yung ratings nya at gumanda yung chance nya for re-election. 

Kung dapat ba nilibing ng maayos si OBL? Kung totoong ginawa nya yung mga sinasabi sa news na ginawa nya, tingin ko ayos lang yung burial at sea. (Malay natin, hindi pala sya patay at nasa custody lang sya ng US at under interrogation regarding other extremists and their activities, iba kasi kapag CIA ang gumalaw e.
