look for something about memory hole sa bios.. if it's On turn it off and vice versa.. give me a feed back.. :)

Did you upgrade from 2 gb to 4gb? or it was 4 gb all along? If it is then when did this start?
Did you bother resetting the BIOS to defaults or doing the CMOS battery

there is nothing wrong with your memory or video card its just that 4gb is the usual maximum memory that the motherboard and the OS can agree to use, even though your motherboard can support 8gb and windows 7 64bit can use more than 4gb.

its like memory adress of the ram and the videocard overlaps since the videocard cannot be dissabled the motherboard dissables the other ram sticks.

the solution is to enable memory remapping feature of the motherboard in the bios

last year pako nag upgrade bali 2 pcs na 2gb trancend na
last months okay pa sya nung old HF pa gamit ko then nag bad sector ung hd ko pina waranty ko... pinalitan nang shop nang brand new

nung isang gabi nakuha ko n aung bagong hd then nag install nako then boom

4gb ( 2gb usable) yan tumambad saken

panu mag reset bios?

hala ganito din sakin.. may problem ba to pag ganito? nasasayang ba yung sakin eh 1gig na hindi usable? advice please! ngayon lng din kasi ako ng win 7

as far as i know, windows 7 32-bit can only use/work with 3gb of memory (in your case 2.9gb)
upgrading the mobo bios to the latest version won't help either.

For you to utilized the 4gb you have, you must use the 64-bit version of windows 7, but even with win7-64bit, i've read some users are also having problems and their system could only recognize 3 gb max

ok so bale kahit off mo ang memory remapping ganun padin. next suggestion would be reset bios.teka nga pala nung before ka nagpalit ng hdd hindi naman ganun? posting via cp kaya dugtong2x

Lol baligtad nga pagkaintindi. Sabi 2.92 GB usable.

Pre reset BIOS? reload defaults? o kea tanggalin mo CMOS battery. Try mo lang muna since sabi mo dati d naman ganyan. Start with the simple things.

 ::lmao baliktad nga pag kaintindi ko bwahha sensya. paranoid nako d ako makagalaw sa os ko kasi  os itself kinakain = 1gb na :(

ang problema d ako marunong mag tanggal nang cmos battery. ung isang choice naman ung set defualts na try ko na ganun padin

ngayun lang  nag mermory chek ako via windows memory diagnostic wla naman error parehas na mem.
