Tanong lang, is it the same as other networks such as smart bro, na plug and play lang? Kasi currently, i was able to set up arouter for smartbro in just a blink of an eye pero when i tried the same kind of router to PLDT's DSL, it seems na hindi lumulusot ang internet connection from modem to router. The router that i'm using is a buffalo brand. Baka meron kayo idea about the changes to be done. Any added information, please let me know.

anong model ng buffalo gamit mo? Meron yan setup wizard sa router then automatically detect nya kung meron nakakabit na dsl modem tapos sya na mag-configure ng settings.

Yun ang default setting niya e so i guess hindi nga siya nag work. The model is buffalo WCR-GN

is there any setup wizard need in your router through your PC? anyway, some other cases are you need to register the MAC address of your router on your ISP modem, bago maka assign ng DHCP IP yan sa router mo, try to check your modem gui page and your router gui page, and you will know what settings you did missed.

I'll try this, i hope i can still find the manual of pldt's modem

more than one month na itong post na ito.... kumsta na prob mo...

suggestion lang po ito... ang pagkakaalam pldt is using dhcp type of connection... so khit anong device plugin mo sa modem nya magwork... ngayon kung yan router na yan ayaw gumana... i clone mo ung MAC address ng PC na direktang gumagana sa modem, sapul dapat magwork yan... do a normal powercycle kung ayaw agad magwork... hope makatulong kng existing pa issue mo...

eto masaya pag pinoy pag sinabing i access yung gui alam kaagad kung paano gawin kasi nagbabasa...
anyway pag di gumana yung mac clone subukan mo i apply DHCP client... kasi kung minsan kahit na automatic dapat yung router nahihirapang kumuha ng IP sa modem so kailangan pang i manual apply yung DHCP client sa router...
