As far as i heard it right, last november pa disbanded ang MYMP. Dahil sa laging pagappear ni juris sa mga shows na dapat silang dalawa ang magkasama. Chin is the one na nagdeide na magdecide na sila, but i don't blame Juris, I blame the effin manager. Hindi marunong. And here's the deal.... Since si Chin ang nagaarrange ng mga kanta nila, Juris are forbidden to sing ANY MYMP songs kundi, magkakagulo silang dalawa. Sad

pahabol mga bro, i heard from Joey De Leon na buntis din daw si EB Babe Joyce (4 months na ata yung baby sa tyan nya).  Uso yata ngaun yung mga nabubuntis sa Dance Groups.

Kim Guevarra, Lian Paz, and Joyce Burgos are out of the EB Babes for, shall we say, maternity reasons; it's unclear whether Joyce will return but neither Kim nor Lian renewed their contract with TAPE, Inc. Mergene Maranan left for undisclosed reasons. Mae Dela Cerna is currently the lead dancer for Cool Center's Cool Girls. So that leaves Ann Boleche, Angel Coronel, Saida Diola, and Belle Rivera as the only remaining original members of the group.

From what I know, Chevalier Yubi, Madel Palma is currently enrolled in a flight school (although I'm not ceratin whether it's here in Metro Manila or Cebu) to fulfill her ambition to become a flight stewardess. That's why she's excluded from the EB Babes roster.

Here's an update: Mergene Maranan is returning to the active EB Babes roster this week after undergoing treatment for a spinal injury. Here's hoping that she returns in good form.

RE: MYMP

A friend of mine who's close to Chin told me na magka-live in pala dati si Chin and yung manager nila, and when they separated dun na nagsimula yung problems. The group was still intact pero different pathways yung gusto ni Chin and nung manager. The manager wanted the group to veer towards more "commercial" projects, yung pang-masa ang dating, pero Chin wanted the group to be medyo upscale ng konti, and dahil nga may halo nang emotional and personal fall-outs, di na sila makapag-meet eye-to-eye. They did agree to some compromises - Chin would keep the MYMP name (and thus the new vocalist) while Juris would keep the existing gigs (like Sessionistas and yung shows sa Bagaberde, etc). Also, since they have almost finished their latest album, it would become a solo album of Juris while Chin would be the producer (and in fact si Juris naman kasi yung kumakanta dun sa album and si Chin naman kasi ang nag-produce talaga) so they still share the proceeds. But, hanggang doon na lang at nagtatapos na finally ang partnership nila. MYMP moves on with Juliet as the new vocalist while Juris goes on her solo career with their old manager.

All's well that ends well. But like I said, nasabi lang sa akin ito.
