try Re-crimping the RJ45 on both ends of the lan cable, kun wala ka crimping tool kuha ka ng maliit na flat screw driver then yung mga gold connectors sa end ng RJ45 (transparent plastic terminator ng cable ) isaisa mo dikdikin ng tamang tama para dumiin ang ngipin ng mga gold connectors sa mga wires.

I've already tried using another UTP cable with the same result pa rin.  Effective po ba ang Windows xp repair dun sa installation disk? pano po ba gamitin yun may nagsabi sa akin na hindi daw effective yun self repair eh.

saan nakapatong CPU mo? meron kasi akong isang pc na maalog yung table na pinaglalagyan nya. kaya minsan tuloy nawawalan ng connection. baka naman ganyan din kaso mo?

Boss Toblerone , sturdy naman yung kinalalagyan ng pc ko ngayon nga habang nagtype ako eh lumabas na naman na local area connection ko ay disconnected na ulit then nagacquire na ng ip ng kusa... This is really annoying na  smoking::

i think kun di madala sa fresh install na windows bili ka na lang ng lan card 200 lang yata yan. yun built in lancard ng isang comp ko di na gumagana pero nadedetect and minsan nag connect pero nawawala after ma tamaan ng kidlat ang tower sa office namin. baka pareho lang.

Found the problem na, naiipit pala yun lan cable ko! nung nagpalit ako ng lan cable naiipit din kaya pareho result, thanks for all your help!

ganito din problema ko sa office... bagong PC, fresh installed XP SP3, okey ung cable kasi tinest ko gamit ung cable tester.. mga 2 minutes okey naman tapos nagnenetwork cable unplug, mga 3 times tapos wala na talaga hindi na makaconnect.. you need to restart para magkaroon ng connection.. ano kayang prob nito mga bro? ::moreinfo ::moreinfo

yup try niyo icrimp ulit. baka hindi lang maayos pagkacrimp. OR baka may naipit na part ng cable
