Di po tayo nagka Phantom...the US tried to give it to us after pinatubo but we declined because we can't affort to operate it.

Huh? As in F-4 Phantom? Sure ka? Kasi lahat ng reference na tingnan ko kahit kailan hindi tayo nagkaroon nyan.. baka naman ang ibig mong sabihin eh dito lang dinala ng mga kano ung mga F-4s nila.. they had a base here diba? Meron tayo mga F-4 dati pero walang maintainance kaya nabulok lang. hehe Yung F-18, pangarap nalang yun.

actually di natin kelangan ng fighter jets since we only have internal problems, mas kelangan natin ng choppers. kahit cobra and blackhawk helicopters pwede na, and navy vessel na my helipad... bnana

korrect ka jan guy, choppers ,tanks, and well trained and well fed ground units for kicking rebel's ass ang kelangan natin

I dont think we need tanks.. More of IFV's and APC's siguro..

Eventualy we will need fighter aircrafts.. totoo na ang imediate need natin ay mga helicopters at troop transports, pero in order to have the capability to defend the country, kailangan talaga ng fighters..

ung IFV' & APC's natin ay kayang sirain ng RPG and recoilless rifles, i guess the AFP should modify the armor coz d2 naman magaling ang mga pinoy.

mahal ang maintenance ng fighter jets, mas uunahin pa ba natin to kesa mga less fortunate nating mga kababayan? all we need to do is utilize what we have, actually kung seryoso lang ang gobyerno natin sa pagsugpo ng rebilyon eh matagal ng tapos yan.

kung bibili nga naman tayo ng fighter jets, ilan ang kaya nating bilhin? im sure obsolete aircrafts lang ang bibilhin, will it defend the country kung ang papasok sa atin are the likes of F-22 or the russian jets?

comment ko lang....   nung panahon ni marcos madami pa tayong air fighters (isa na ung bluediamond) kc supportado nya ang AFP at isa tayo sa kinakatakutang bansa sa ASIA kaya nga sakop natin ung sabah (ung malapit sa mindanao) ngayon tayo na ang natatakot na bansa kc mahina na ang air assets natin..  baka may mapadaan lang na 2 F-22 eh mawla na ang pinas....   pero in my own opinion di na natin kailangan ng malakas na air assets kc we are a member of United Nation.. bago tayo gerahin ng ibang bansa ehhh kailngan mag paalam muna sila di ba...  and dapat natin ma upgrade ehh ung mga gamit ng marines at army puro kalawang na ata ehh di pa pumuputok he he he...  baka sa kalawang mamatay ang kalaban.....
