Topic: Ano ba talaga Ending ng Toshou Daimos ??

Para sa mga mahilig sa anime, at sa mga nakapanood ng Daimos, sabi nila ang ending daw namatay si Kazuya/Richard dahil sa last scene ay pinikit nya mata pero sabi ng iba nagpahinga lang daw.

...pag ba pinikit ang mata patay na agad?? d ba pwedeng natutulog lang o nagpapahinga? LOL

PERO ANO BA TALAGA??

sabi ng narrator sa ending: "Richard and Erika, through thier love for one another form a BOND not just between themselves but also to the people on earth and thier cosmic neighbors, and as a new race rise its birth, the universe resounds it's welcome"

so ibig sabihin d sya namatay dhil ngbonding sila ni erika para sa rebuild ng both brahm and earth. tapos nbasa ko sa isang website na si Richard nagpakasal kay Erika at naging King of Bram sya while si Erika nmn naging Queen of bram dhl namatay si Ulrich (na dpt mgging king of brahm) ....at nagsama at nagbong silang dalawa para sa ikakaayos ng planet earth and brahm

kaso sa episode d na pinakita eh may cut na, kaya kinowento n lng ng narrator. kaya parang BITIN tignan. sa last episode kasi Richard is severely wounded then erika came to him, comfort him and held his hands tapos THE END na.......
kya maraming na dissappoint sa ending ng daimos...

so happy ending and happily ever after pa rin. They got married and form a bond... d lang kasi masyadong nailaborate o naiipakita sa eksena.  D katulad ng Voltes V na naipakita tlga yung ending. kumbaga hindi bitin.  Great ending...

The real or original ending was probably "death". Even during the 60's and 70's, anime's in Japan are less censored and involves deaths and tragedies. The early Gatchaman in Japan implied or showed death scenes (not really morbid if watched by an adult or highschool-aged person), while the English adaptation of it, the Battle of the Planets, was heavily censored, like having the Narrator say something like "the people were evacuated before some explosion" or "what they killed were just android guards" (not the actual quotes mind you, just my example). Similar to the original GI Joe Movie (eventhough US-production), where Duke originally died but later changed because of poor reactions from US children-audiences when Transformers The Movie's Optimus Prime died as well.

In retrospect, I think the ending if "death", is a better ending. Like a drama ending in "tragedy". Much like anime nowadays, like Naruto, where characters die, even the "key" characters.
