Actually I already posted this in one of the threads here, pero ginawan ko siya ng sariling thread para maraming ma-reach na ka-espiyas having uncracked PSP-2000s (or planning to buy one)
First up: You need to update your firmware to 5.03. 5.03. 5.03. kasi kapag hindi 5.03 hindi gagana yung hack.
Tapos kailangan mo ng ChickHEN R2. ChickHEN R2. ChickHEN R2. kasi ito lang ang compatible na exploit para sa FW 5.03 at hindi gagana yung hack na kasunod nito.
Tapos kailangan mo ng CFW Enabler 1.0. Ito yung magfaflash ng Custom FW sa PSP.
Starters:
1 reset PSP to default. para mas swabe magload. change all settings na lang after loading CFW.
2 after PSP reset, punta sa SETTINGS/UMD Auto Start and SETTINGS/UMD Cache and set them to OFF.
Instructions in loading ChickHEN R2:
1 download chickHEN R2 MOD file
2 via PSP USB mode, extract file sa root ng memory stick eg.J:\ where J is memory stick
3 may makikita kang .bin file dun na kasama, iwan sa root yun. tapos may folder na ChickHEN MOD dun. ttransfer yun sa directory ms:\psp\photo. magiging itsura nun j:\psp\photo\chickhen mod
4 balik ka sa XMB ng PSP mo. punta ka sa photos mo. lalabas dun yung Chickhen MOD. sa loob nun may mga itlog na image.
eto yung technique na ginagawa ko: habang nagloload yung image, scrolldown papunta sa sunod na image hanggang sa makarating ka sa kaduluhang file, which is a .TIFF file. medyo tricky pero kapag nakuha mo siya madali nang gawin.
5 kapag successful ka, magfflash ng green yung screen mo, tapos magrereset. kapag hindi naman, magffreeze yung screen, tapos mamamatay. ulitin lang hanggang sa ma-load yung ChickHEN.
Instructions in loading CFW Enabler
1 download CFW Enabler 1.0
2 via PSP USB mode, extract file sa root ng memory stick.
3 transfer folder CFWEnabler sa directory ms:\psp\game magiging itsura nun j:\psp\game\cfwenabler
4 balik ka sa XMB ng PSP mo. punta ka sa games mo, lalabas dun yung CFWEnabler. Run the file.
5 lalabas yung program. WAG PIPINDOT NG IBANG BUTTONS. just press circle (o) button to flash CFW. end result would be 5.00 m33 FW.

PS: kapag pinatay mo ang PSP mo it will all reset and you have to go through the whole process again. The upside to this is, since the CFW is flashed in your PSP's RAM only, IT WON'T BRICK!
If you want it to stay that way, put it in sleep mode and charge it when the 'battery empty' icon flashes on the screen so you dont have to run through the process again.

Pwede yan bro yung psp ko nga US version e nabasag pa rin. Nasa model and motherboard yan bro. Basta PSP-2000 pwede lalo na yung TA088v3, ung previous 'unhackable' version.

Tama ka bro. Pandora-proof at hindi nagagamitan ng MMS. which is good, for me, dahil hindi mo na kailangan pa gumawa ng mga ganung tools at hindi mo na kailangan pa ng seperate na PSP para makapagcrack ng PSP.

Sony Official Firmware 5.03
Ito ang kailanganng firmware to load ChickHEN. Other firmware won't do.
How to:
Copy file in ms0:\psp\game (PSP USB mode)
Back to XMB, access game/memorystick and you will see it there.

Yup, yun ang money shot kapag nakaCFW ka. You can play UMD back-up files (ISO and CSO)
But there's much more, like playing old PSX games (using PSX Emulator POPS), using homebrew applications (like yung PSPident and yung CFWEnabler), homebrew games, emulators ng old consoles (SNES, Sega Genesis, etc.etc) customization ng XMB (custom themes) and other tweaks.
@ZanyJ : mas ok na sa akin yung ganito, kasi walang flashing sa main memory ng psp, sa RAM lang, so there's no bricking. kung meron lang ako mahihiling, mas swabeng loading ng ChickHEN.

Pwede yan as long as it's a PSP-2000, mapa2001 pa yan o 2004. kasi halos parepareho lang naman yan ng boards e, iba-iba lang ang versions. This exploit and CFW was created with the TA088v3 motherboard (malamang yan ang board mo) in mind.

pinagawa ko po kc sa technician,, gusto kong magdagdag ng games kasi dlawa lng games nia, meron na akong naidagdag na game sa folder na ISO pero hindi po nagpapakita un sa mga games ko. ung dlwa lang ung andun. pano po ba gagawin?

It should work, bro. sa ISO folder talaga nilalagay yung mga game files.
Either hindi maganda ang pagka-backup ng games mo, or corrupted na yung file na ginagamit mo. Kasi minsan kapag matagal na sa baul yung games it tends to get corrupted, lalo kapag hindi masyado maganda pagka-rip nun. Saan ba galing yung games mo?
or you may try renaming it, from. iso to .cso, and vice versa. try mo lang.

i suppose you tried to install homebrew games. Well, nangyari din sa akin yan e, tried playing with Wolfenstein 3D, sarap ng paglalaro ko biglang my PSP suddenly froze and shut off itself. Hinintuan ko na and stuck to ISOs and emulators.

Pre-req's:
PSP firmware should be 5.03
Install ChickHEN R2 (download it from here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mmrnjymzmfi )
For installation of ChickHEN please refer to first post.
Note for PSP-2000 users, previous versions of ChickHEN should be deleted. (.gif, .tiff, h.bin, egghunt.bin)
Installation:

2 Extract file and copy to ms0:\PSP\GAME (via PSP USB mode). eg. J:\PSP\GAME\CFWEnabler330
3 Back in XMB mode, launch CFWEnabler 3.30.

@harrow and zany: ayaw talaga ng pbp, resident evil ang nilagay ko, biglang namamatay tas pag reboot nya eh katakot takot na itlog na naman ang haharapin ko, bwahahaha! iso at cso na nga lang, malas na lang ng gf ko (kanya yun psp) puro pbp yun mga gusto nya games kaya tiis na lang sya sa bomberman, luxor at lumines, at least nageenjoy sya sa grand theft yata yun

pag cracked or i should say CFW, pwede ka po maglaro ng mga games sa psp without buying the umd. you can also use umd's as well versus the OFW na hindi ka pwede maglaro ng mga downloaded games.

may question lang ako harrowblade_0, ano yung advantages nung second method na pinost mo? since i used the first method, would you recommend na gawin ko pa yung second method or just stick with the first one. thanks again!

pwede mo rin gamitin yung isa, mas updated kasi yun with new menus bukod sa VSH nya meron pa (see screens). ito kasing pangalawa pwede na siya sa PSP3Ks. pero pwede rin siya sa 2Ks.

hindi ba siya bumabalik sa XMB? kasi dapat babalik siya after loading CFWEnabler. You may wanna try checking your system too, dahil baka hindi mo alam na-iload mo na pala.
sure ka ba na 2K yang PSP mo? baka 3K yan. Use PSPident. we have a download link here.
kung 3K siya, i would suggest you use CFWEnabler 3.30. i also put a tutorial on how to crack 3Ks. Sa page 3 ata yun.

hindi ba siya bumabalik sa XMB? kasi dapat babalik siya after loading CFWEnabler. You may wanna try checking your system too, dahil baka hindi mo alam na-iload mo na pala.
sure ka ba na 2K yang PSP mo? baka 3K yan. Use PSPident. we have a download link here.
kung 3K siya, i would suggest you use CFWEnabler 3.30. i also put a tutorial on how to crack 3Ks. Sa page 3 ata yun.

try mu to, after sa egg SELECT>>>M33VSH menu choose M33 driver under UMD ISO MODE...
baka nareset din ang M33 driver mo to default...

tyagain mo lang bro. tatakbo rin yan. kapag nakasanayan mo na yang mga itlog makukuha mo rin yan. ako nga kulang isandaang beses bago ko nakuha yung technique ng itlog. tyagatyaga lang bro. wala namang bayad e. kesa maburo psp mo.

ibbrowse nga, pero may tyempo ang browsing nun. twice ko na pinost dito kung paano ginagawa yun, diba tinuro ko pa nga sa'yo thru pm? tyagain mo lang.

dba pag niloa2d ung itlog pag hindi successful naghahang un tapos mamatay na,, i2 hindi bro e,, pwede mo pa xang iback,, sa timing medyo kabisado ko na un kasi nagagawa ko nman un sa psp ko..

parang nangyari din sa akin yan...palit ka ng itlog bro. erase mo yung luma, pati yung h.bin at yung egghunt.bin. reinstall mo yung itlog. then try running it again.
ganito technique ko, one shot one load ako dito e, hindi sumasablay:
punta ng photos, click x
lalabas yung chickHEN folder, wait for the egg image to load, and the ^options sa lower right corner, then click x
papasok ka na sa eggs itself, wait for egg image to load, but before magload yung egg pic kailangan nakascroll ka na sa susunod na pic hanggang sa makarating ka sa tiff image

E 2006 yung gamit ko. It should work. Just replace the old copy of ChickHEN with a new one.

ilan beses na nareset yun akin, ok naman yun mga itlog ko (ooops) itlog ng psp pala, ulit ulit ko lang yun proseso pag marestart, sit and wait lang ako hanggang sa may makagawa ng hack na walang reset reset, although 3 weeks na di narereset, nasanay na rin siguro kami ng gf ko, pero sana wala na yun, wehehehehehe! ;D
