mga bossing, paano nga ba pababain ang ping ng net ko? andito kasi ako ngaun sa saudi. kakukuha ko lang ng router ko. mabilis naman net ko. kaso mataas ang ping ko. kaya hindi nagloload ang isang online game sa fb. nireboot ko na ang router ko at nilinis na rin ang history at caches ng mga browser ko. updated din ang flash player ko. natry ko na lahat ng nkita ko sa google pero wala pa rin mgandang resulta. more than 100ms prin ang ping. pero nung nanjan ako sa pinas, ok naman sya. walang problema.

ping depends on the location. so kung nasa saudi ka and ang server ng game is nasa US, expect mo talaga na mataas ang ping since data travels a lot farther so the time it takes to reach the server from your location, that is ping
thats perfectly normal. kaso of course kung mga tipong 1000ms na ang ping mo, thats not normal. kung saudi to US, siguro nasa mga 300-500ms ang normal ping niyan (but again depends on how far the data has to travel)
also, just because na malapit ka sa server does not mean automatically mababa na ping mo. this still depends on how far the data travels. example, dito sa bahay ko papunta sa server na nasa HK, malapit lang dapat yan pero data might need to travel to different servers before it reaches the end server so its still possible na mataas ang ping ang result
what exactly is your ping? you can try to ping sites like google, yahoo, etc. and you can do a traceroute para malamang mo how long the data travels to each server before reaching the end

yung range ng ping ko is from 200ms-500ms at times. solo ko lang naman tong router so solo ko din ang bandwidth. nkastop din ang mga download apps like torrents etc. saka when i play on a different computer like yung computer sa office, ok naman sya. i can play. although ang pinagkaiba lang eh un isp. alam nman natin na dto sa saudi e blocked ang ibang sites that shows some skin, if you know what i mean. pero itong isp ng pc sa office nmin is different. i can open sites that are usually blocked by the gov't. like fhm, playboy and some porn sites (although dko inoopen lagi baka mahuli, out of curiousity lang nman. and also sa mga computer shops, no problem. so i'm thinking na baka yung isp ko ang problema. although i won't change my isp bcoz of a game that won't load.
pinagtataka ko pa is bakit ko naoopen yung ibang games which is owned and operated by the same company na ngppatakbo nung game na hindi ngloload? for example, 2ksports. 2ksports owns nba2k, fifa2k, nfl2k, etc. all of which are based in the US. Fifa2k and nfl2k works just fine. no hang ups/lag. but for some reason, nba2k won't load. won't open and frequently disconnects. unless this games have servers that are far from each other, i can't see the logic. i'm no expert in IT so help me out kng my mali sa pananaw ko.

Check mo setup sa router at sa PC kung naka proxy ka.... proxy is sometimes the reason for high ping. :D

pinagtataka ko pa is bakit ko naoopen yung ibang games which is owned and operated by the same company na ngppatakbo nung game na hindi ngloload? for example, 2ksports. 2ksports owns nba2k, fifa2k, nfl2k, etc. all of which are based in the US. Fifa2k and nfl2k works just fine. no hang ups/lag. but for some reason, nba2k won't load. won't open and frequently disconnects. unless this games have servers that are far from each other, i can't see the logic. i'm no expert in IT so help me out kng my mali sa pananaw ko.
NFL and FIFA are EAsports games, and both use Origin servers.. NBA 2k15 uses Steam.. Problematic din ang Steam dito sa Pilipinas, may random lag spikes kahit nasa Singapore lang yung server.. Naglalaro ako minsan @70ms ping, tapos biglang aakyat sa 3000ms.. Ang alam ko Dubai lang ang server ng Steam sa middle east..

bro example ko lang un. i'm not referring to them in particular. but thanks for your outputs. yun lng ang concern ko kasi wala na ako magagawa dito (sayang tinuloy ko na lang sana IT course ko nun, puro kasi ako cutting classes dahil unang labas pa lang ng counter strike nun so naaddict ako)

Check mo setup sa router at sa PC kung naka proxy ka.... proxy is sometimes the reason for high ping. :D
