CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – At least 69 people were confirmed killed in floods spawned by typhoon “Sendong” in various parts of Mindanao but the figure could increase as search efforts continued, authorities had reported.

Sad to witness my hometown flooded by the typhoon Sendong. The LGU's slow response and failure to take precautionary measures during the initial phase of the rain was one of the reasons for the number of innocent casualties. Not to mention the "legal" logging around the adjacent areas of Iligan. smoking::

pati rin dito sa Iligan City, 60+ and still counting ang mga casualties dito, buti nalang hindi umabot sa amin ang tubig baha.. :(

wew.... kagagaling ko lang ng Bukidnon nung Wednesday, sa Cagayan de Oro kami sumakay ng plane. Thank God di kami inabutan ng bagyo.
