sa pentium 3 ba. hnggng 300 to 350 watts lng ba ang limit ng power supply mo?

ano po ulit? ang ibig nyo ba sa bihin ay kung anong PSU ang pwedeng gamitin o kung ano ang power consumption?

IMO, ok lang kahit 500+ watts pa psu mo. mas maganda nga kung mataas at syempre branded para hindi magshort ang supply ng kuryente lalo na sa maraming nakabit na hardware. pag nangyari kasi yun, madali o pwede masira mga nakabit sa psu. isa pa kaya dapat mataas ang watts ng psu e para sa dun sa mga mahihilig mag-overclock.

at the time the P3s were released, the PSU at that time were only 300-350Watts so that is the common that you will see. BUT, there is no problem even if you use  a PSU of more than 350W, you can use 1000Watts if you want, it wont be a problem

yung amin dito na P3 800, nasunog ang PSU before kasi matagal na,pinalitan ko ng 500Watts

Kailangan mo lang ng mataas na capacity ng PSU kung marami kang ikakabit na peripheral devices. Kung hindi naman, magsasayang ka lang ng konsumo sa kuryente. Dapat gumamit ka lang ng tama. Makakabili ka ng mura at matinong PSU sa SOS/HMR.

it doesn't necessarily mean that if you are using a higher wattage PSU that your electric consumption will go up. even if you use 1000W PSU, you will still be using the same amount of electricity as before when you used a 300-350W PSU. the basis is not the wattage of the PSU since its only a rating, the actual usage will still depend on what devices you have attached.

also, why buy a surplus PSU at SOS or any other surplus store when you can buy a brand new generic ones at computer stores like octagon, rising sun, etc etc. the surplus will probably cost something like 500pesos (300-350W) while a brand new one will only cost around 700-900 (500-750W).
