baka naman sira ung pirated copy mo ng xp, use ka ng orig coz it micght work

xp minimum specs p3 800mhz and up and 64mb ram, and at these specs super bagal pero it will run wala ka na nga lang marun na iba progs

mga bossing ganyan din pc q ayaw din maiba ng os , hangang 98 at me lang aq di pwede ma upgrade sa xp.......naka fat32 ang hardisk q sabi nila d raw un comptble sa xp... kaya kapg try q na fdisk , nag error plgi.... and kapag install q naman ung xp, kapag nag restart na xa , lumalabas sa screen is new hardware found windows installer error, please restart dw ung  computer, tpos kapg nirestart ulet, ganun pa rin............................... please help mga bossing

kasi ganito ang FAT32 format sa HD pwede lang sa HD na below 100gb, if lumampas ka ng 100gb at naka fat32 ka like lets say 160gb... 100gb pa rin ang magregister at usable kaya un need to format it na NTFS coz windows XP was designed for new and more powerfull systems, back in 1998 a 100gb HD wasnt even imaginable kaya FAT32 ang standard of formatting, windows XP must be intalled in an HD that is formatted at NTFS r else it cannot be intalled

FAT32 has a 32GB limit per partition. For a 100GB disk you'd need to create multiple partitions of 32GB each, which you could then format as FAT32 or use other third party partition apps para maformat mo as a whole partition..

you can install nman winxp even if you're using FAT32 file system.

bka nman may iba pang hardware error..  did you try clean install? or just upgrade win98 to winxp?

correct u can split an HD with more than 100gb into smaller partitions and make 1 of those partitions(where u plan to install ur winxp) NTFS while the others still at FAT32

not exactly 32GB ang limit ng FAT32. you can use more than 32GB for your FAT32 drives.

in my case, my fat32 drives are around 40GB each. i even tried a new 80GB HDD and formatted it to FAT32 then installed XP. no problems encountered

one drawback of FAT32 drives though is that for a single file, the max size is 4GB. pag may isang file ka na lampas 4GB, hindi na kaya ng FAT32 yun. example would be DVD iso files

you can install win xp on FAT32, walang problema dun. though xp setup will recommend that you use NTFS

as for the errors you get, most likely the cause of that is the installer cd you have. san nyo ba kinuha mga installers nyo? maraming installers dyan na hindi maganda ang pagkagawa. i suggest you dont use yung mga 8 in one xp installer, etc etc, or yung mga unattended installers. use the original xp installer (you can still find plenty) para iwas problema

na-check mo na ba yung minimum system requirements ng XP?

kung medyo pasado lang, gawa ka ng stripped down XP installer using nLite. pwede rin download mo na lang yung TinyXP or Gamer XP from piratebay.

Installing XP is nothing to do with FAT or NTFS partition because it will be compatible in both sytem partition.

There are many things to consider in Installing Win XP. I'll just name a few here:

1. Motherboard
2. RAM

Based on my experience faulty Motherboard/RAM is detected in WINXP so if you try to install the OS it will will generate many errors and you cannot install the OS Successfully.

Before installing WinXP read first the compatibility issues.......
