Mars keeps consistent distance from Earth

You may have received a forwarded email that says to be sure to pay attention to the planet Mars in the summer sky because the red planet is going to be closer to Earth this August than at anytime in recorded history.

is that Truth or Fiction?

tingin ko luma n yang email na yan...The first ever recorded that MARS closest to EARTH was recorded 2 years ago..Naalala ko pa nga,pumunta ako w/ my friends that night sa U.P observatory dito sa diliman nung tym na yan...
