mosquito ringtone

anybody got the mosquito ringtone?

it's a ringtone that only teens can hear....

this ringtone is very popular here in north america as students use it
as the teachers can never hear the tone....

nabasa ko na 2 sa forum nang ZEDGE.NET ... my link din don for FREE LISTENING nung tone na yan.... sabi nla eh talgang napakataas nung frequency nung sound niya KYA DI U BASTA BASTA MARIRINIG....... i tink makakarinig nito ung mga taong mahilig sa hardcore.... i min mga hardcore listeners....

hmm... i think this is the anti mosquite tone that was deviced for mobile phones

it basically works like this: the phone will emit a sound so faint that you most likely wont be able to hear it but its very irritating for mosquitoes so they will avoid that area

though this is the first time i heard that teens are using it. the sound doesnt mean a thing

of course, you can make use of this by something like say regular intervals

example, multiple choice: a,b,c,d. if the answer is a, you play the tone for a certain amount of time, another time for b, another for c, etc etc

its close to subsonic, its not designed for humans to hear, just mosquitoes

scratch that. just read about this somewhere else

this is an all together different thing. but, take note, its fake. this so called mosquito tone that teens supposedly use is a hoax. first off, a LOT of people can hear the so called tone (not just teens). this looks like just another one of those annoying things. the sound it generates is very annoying

i thought the topic was about the anti mosquito tone developed before but it turns out its a different thing.

also, there is absolutely no scientific proof that teens' hearing is superior to adults. of course as you age your hearing does weaken a bit. what is a fact though is that some people have better hearing than others but its never that teens have better hearing than adults. i can personally pinpoint some adults that have very good hearing (a whole lot better than teens)

Hoax?   

CNN has featured this ringtone and did a street test....

the logic is, as a person gets older, he tends to lose the ability to hear certain frequencies.

medically speaking,

In time, a person loses some of their inner most ear "hair" sensors that is responsible to detect this frequencies.

tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit yung ang narinig ko tapos pag click ko ng mouse may pag lutong ang click tapos balik sa dati uli parang after effect ng sound na yun.
