Napansin ko lang ang parang meat eaters vs vegitarians diskusyon natin. Haha. Basta karne na ng ibang hayop ang pinaguusapan papasok talaga ang animal cruelty, dahil sa paraan ng pagkatay, pero kailangan nating mabuhay e. May nabasa akong paraan ng pagkatay na sang ayon ang ibangvegetarians, Halal ata tawag dun.

Sa opinyon ko, di naman cruelty yun pag kailangan mo nang pumatay para mabuhay, survival of the fittest lang. Yun nga lang, depende na sayo at iisipin ng ibang tao kung gaano mo kabilis papatayin yung kakainin mo.

Gobilam hindi para yan sa meateaters or vegetarian ang punto diyan , kakain lang tayo ng isda eh ganiyan pa, buhay pa at crispy yung buntot at buhay ang ulo habol hininga pa, wala sanang problema kung mabilising pagpatay kahit fresh pa... yan punto diyan. gets? ;D straight tayo sa topic "isda sa plato crispy buntot, buhay ulo at habol hininga pa" ;D

Lolz.. whats so cruel about it?

you guys think the fish will "feel" being eaten? Tell you what.. if the body of the fish is cooked then every single nerve in it is destroyed.. No way for it to get hurt when you dig in with your chop-sticks..

You feel pity because its alive? technicaly it is.. But if you have some knowledge in physiology you''ll understand that the fish probably dont have a clue in whats happening.. Its brain shot-down when it was cooked.. The movements you see are invouluntary..

IMO, hindi dapat naaawa dyan, i would love to agree sa isang comment na survival of the fittest eh.
swertihan lang yan. naging isda siya eh... tapos tayo TAO.

A: kawawa naman yung isda!! kinakain eh buhay pa! (habang binabaligtad ang iniihaw na bangus)
B: ano ka ba, pareho lang naman yun... kinakain naman yun PER SE! (sabay kurot din sa inihaw na bangus) ANG INIT!
A: ok sana kung kinakain na patay na. tulad netong ginagawa natin. (nguya, ngasab) Ang sarap, sariwa pa eh.
B: IISA LANG YUN! PINATAY DIN AT KINAIN!!!!! (nabilaukan) (ubo-ubo)

We call it in leyte as "TUGNOS" (Around 2 mm in diameter to 5 mm in length. Very small) kasi sa leyte kinukuha ito almost sa bewang lang with Mosquito net and a Lamp from a fishing boat "sakayan"


Kaya pag kuha nito, sabay kuha sa Net tapos sinasawsaw sa Suka with Kamote
kaya eating Live fish for us is common, pero di nga lang ganun kalaki..

At ito ang pinaka masarap na GINAMOS sa lahat

In leyte we called it "TUGNOS"
in Manila "Dilis" or "Dulong"
in Cebu "Turnos" and in some parts of Cebu they called it "Magamay"


 i think this is what we call "IPON" in Ilocandia..

masarap ang isda pero wag naman sa ganyang paraan.

hate to break it to you brod but some animals eat their prey alive. there's no difference in whether an animal is dead or alive while being eaten in the natural world since we eat to survive. kahit na tao tayo, utak lang naman ang pinagkaiba natin sa kanila. revert a man to its natural state at nagagawa niya yan

So what kung kumikindat-kindat at pumipikit pikit ung isda? Like what I've said.. It feels nothing.. The movements you see, its not because its asking for mercy, or its feeling pain, or its trying to catch breath.. That fish is as good as dead..

The only reason you don't want to eat it is because its still moving, a psychological response.. There's no cruelty here as you're not causing the fish any form of pain and neither does it know its being eaten..

humans are classified as deuterostomes because we have complete digestive tracts. Deuterostomes is a group of animal

utak lang nga talaga pinagkaiba natin sa kanila so don't think na makatao or makahayop ang ginagawa natin sa kanila dahil kung iisipin mo, natural order lang ang nangyari. cultures have molded us to be different from animals

Well, maybe they like to see proof that their fish is fresh.. What better way to demonstrate freshness than when your fish moves before you eat it.. I once saw a sushi chef display a moving fish head in his counter. Apparently its his way of showing his costumers that he use only fresh fish..

My point here is that calling it cruel is uncalled for and baseless.. As I've said, the only reason you wouldn't eat that fish is because its still moving.. A purely psychological thing.. Got nothing to do with cruelty..
