In some shocking TNA Impact Wrestling rumors, Dave Meltzer said on his “Wrestling Observer Radio Show” on Oct. 27 that the Carter family is looking to sell TNA Wrestling and they want to do it soon.

TNA Wrestling has been around for about 12 years now and recently started losing a lot of money. The big problem was that Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan convinced the company to try to compete more with the WWE and then had them take the television show on the road.

This started eating up money fast and some major stars, such as Hulk Hogan, have become free agents when the company couldn’t afford to re-sign them.

TNA Wrestling chose to stop traveling the country with “Impact Wrestling” and they will start taping their shows from Florida once again. They also started a new campaign where wrestlers will videotape themselves when not at the show to help build their characters. Morale is said to be improving, but with the talk of the Carter family selling the company, things may get dicey.

There are some names rumored to want to buy the company from the Carter family, including Eric Bischoff, Jeff Jarrett, Viacom (the company who owns Spike TV, MTV, Comedy Central and more), and even the WWE. If the WWE buys the company, it could mark the end of TNA Impact Wrestling, much like it did WCW and ECW.

Another company down the drain for Eric Bischoff. And ironically enough, WWE's NXT program was pretty much what TNA's Impact show used to be.
