1) Intel Core 2 Duo
2) MoBo with capable latest components (Core 2 Duo, DDR2/3 memory, PCI-E or 2 if u want an SLI rig in the future and avoid an SiS chipset, SATA/SATA II) that has NO BUILT IN VGA
3) get an HD depending on the amount of content u wana have in ur PC(games and multimedia coz) coz if u wana have all the new games and a lot of vids then u need a 320gb but if u dnt immediately need a huge HD space get a 160gb or lower(u can always buy more storage and use external HD enclosures)
4) 1gb-2gb or DDR2/3 in a dual channel KIT
5) Nvidia Series 7 or 8, dnt buy a soundcard anymore, the one built in on new MoBos are gud
6) try to get an LCD if budget permits it coz it is more economical in the longrun
casing(ask the retailer which one is good)
7) Altec Lansing ATP3(best subbs for the past 3 years)
8) 350w PSU and up(depending on how many components u wana add)
9) other accessories adjust based on how much money is left coz u have to concentrate on a major component(would u settle for the most expensive Wireless KB and mouse and a lesser VGA card?)

Intel Core 2 Duos are way better than athlons, for me, i dnt know about other users who still prefer AMD, im still using an Intel P4 1.6ghz since 2002 and started running it 24/7 jan 2005 when we got DSL WITH no additional cooling MOD(just the stock CPU fan)

PLS buy ur pc parts at a pc retail shop NOT inside a MALL, like PCX branches that have no branch inside malls, sa mall outlets kc wala masyado maganda parts

ang sabi mo kc AGP and mahirap maghanap ng AGP na 7300GT, sa PCI-e merong 7300GT, what kind of mobo do u plan to buy AGP or PCI-e kc mas bago and better ang PCI-e kesa AGP

AMD and INTEL=CPU Brands

mobos can only support EITHER AMD or INTEL, u want an INTEL CPU pero u keep on adding a MoBo that supports AMD

MSI,ASUS,GIGABYTE,ECS=MoBo brands

all brands have AMD and INTEL models for MoBos, CHOOSE A MOBO that can use INTEL Core 2 Duo

yung mobo na DDR2 only applies sa RAM. yung video card kahit DDR3 pa yan okay lang, yun yung bilis ng video card mo.

and ganda naman ng gift mo sa gf mo, syotain mo nlng ate ko JBL hehehe  ;D
