amd a10 7850 = around 7,000
msi gaming around 7,000 or asus gaming around 7,000 or msi a58m -e33 around 2,800
corsair vengeance 1600mhz 2x4gb
branded rated power supply

no need video card, can play any latest hardcore games at decent framerates.
i think this setup is faster than your intel build and way cheaper if you use the msi a58m e33.

Worthy to note that I am aiming for VH - Ultra settings at 1080p and a bit of OC also, I spend my idle time gaming (current gen games, online games are usually out of the question) and keeping this upgradable for gen6, thus the DDR4 setup for mobo

pero pinalitan ko na yung RAM ko ng 2.6k - 2.8k na freqs. from 3.2k since overkill na

Thanks sir!

yung current build ok na, thats the latest chipset and DDR4 na yan. but medyo mahal pa yan now diba? Im not sure its worth the cost right now. for the same price you could probably get an older i7 which is better than the i5-6600k, better SSD (sandisk is ok but personally I dont like the durability of sandisk ultra, sandisk extreme yes but ultra not so much) and an additional hard drive for your files, 120GB is not very big, a few games and some movies ubos na agad yan (especially since windows will be eating a big chunk of it)

ahhh ok so gusto mo talaga DDR4 setup. then I guess pwede na yung setup na yan

medyo mahal pero less than 50k ang estimate ko, good for 3 years at least na yung setup (game gen-wise) tapos readily upgradable

any other brands for SSD sir? walang extreme ed yung SSD nila, unfortunately

hehe hindi ko na sinama sir yung non-essential, may spare HDDs pa ako lying around

thanks!!

baka bitin nga, dyan sa basic na sabi mo without other peripherals, no fans, no cpu cooler, mga 400W na estimate ko na load nyan (370W according to PSU calculator)

depende kung ano pa mga ikakabit mo pero kung wala naman idagdag na malaki kakainin na power pwede na yang 550W (since mga other items konte lang naman kakainin like keyboard, mouse, usb devices, etc)

sa akin, go higher ako lagi, hindi naman ibig sabihin na kung 750W PSU mo eh 750W din ang kakainin na power. depende parin yun. ibig lang sabihin capacity ng PSU mo is up to 750W, kung ang need ng system is only 400W then 400W lang ang ibibigay nyan

yes mga sir, 323w dun sa actual PC parts calculator kaya I thought na 550 would be OK, pero tama, I would need to change it by the time na magOC ako, mukang malaki pala jumps ng wattage pag OC 750w it is then!

PCHub na ba talaga lowest price around for these? or may cheaper pa around Gilmore?

Thanks ulit!

as for other SSD brands, marami naman dyan, merong corsair, samsung, crucial, etc

personally, I recommend samsung (evo or pro) and ocz (most ocz ssd are expensive though). I'm using samsung 840 evo which I bought around more than 1 year ago

some sites have ranked samsung evo pretty high
http://elitegamingcomputers.com/the-best-ssds-for-gaming/
http://bestssd2015.com/

eto mga benchmark scores  (the sandisk ultra is rated as second cheapest but read write ranking are too low)

im currently using msi gaming 6 mother board it saves me a little

pros
- save you a little on money you spend
- m.2 slot
- can go sli or crossfire

cons
-disable 2 of my SATA port when m.2 slot is being use
in my case which is fine co'z i dont use dvd drives and i have big ssd

im currently using msi's gtx 970 but a friend of mine showed me how great a Zotac gtx970 amp edition is...its like you own a freaking gtx 980 on those frames

SSD? go samsung evo they are the best , I'm using evo on my build

memory hmmm? 1866 would be fine for gaming

better if you shop yourself around gilmore ts... you can get the best deal going around different stalls and getting from them what is the lowest for your build...
