Common Keyboard Shortcuts For Popular Browsers
Common Keyboard Shortcuts for popular Browsers:Keyboard shortcuts are very handy to operate browser without any hassle. Keyboard shortcuts save time and we can open desired one very easily.Here are some useful keyboard shortcuts to save your time.
Zooming:
Ctrl and +, Ctrl+Mousewheel Up – Zoom in.
Ctrl and -, Ctrl+Mousewheel Down — Zoom out.
Ctrl+0 – Default zoom level.
F11 – Full-screen mode.
Scrolling:
Space, Page Down – Scroll down a frame.
Shift+Space, Page Up – Scroll up a frame.
Home – Top of page.
End – Bottom of page.
Middle Click – Scroll with the mouse.
Search:
Ctrl+K, Ctrl+E – Focus the browser’s built-in search box
Alt+Enter – Perform a search from the search box in a new tab.
Ctrl+F, F3 – Open the in-page search box to search on the current page.
Ctrl+G, F3 – Find the next match of the searched text on the page.
Ctrl+Shift+G, Shift+F3 – Find the previous match of the searched text on the page.
History & Bookmarks:
Ctrl+H – Open the browsing history.
Ctrl+J – Open the download history.
Ctrl+D – Bookmark the current website.
Ctrl+Shift+Del – Open the Clear Browsing History window.
Tabs:
Ctrl+1-8 – Switch to the specified tab, counting from the left.
Ctrl+9 – Switch to the last tab.
Ctrl+Tab – Switch to the next tab
Ctrl+Shift+Tab – Switch to the previous tab
Ctrl+W, Ctrl+F4 – Close the current tab.
Ctrl+Shift+T – Reopen the last closed tab.
Mouse Actions for Tabs:
Middle Click a Tab – Close the tab.
Ctrl+Left Click, Middle Click – Open a link in a background tab.
Shift+Left Click – Open a link in a new browser window.
Ctrl+Shift+Left Click – Open a link in a foreground tab.
Navigation:
Alt+Left Arrow, Backspace – Back.
Alt+Right Arrow, Shift+Backspace – Forward.
F5 – Reload.
Ctrl+F5 – Reload and skip the cache, re-downloading the entire website.
Escape – Stop.
Alt+Home – Open homepage.
Internet Explorer Keyboard Shortcuts:
ESC
- Stop downloading current page
F5
– Refresh page
F11
– Toggle browser between full-screen and regular view
ALT + Left Arrow
– Back
ALT + Right Arrow
– Forward
ALT + HOME
- Go to homepage

Keyboard Shortcuts for Google chrome:Google Chrome is really good faster browser and if you start using the keyboard shortcuts definitely you will become the advanced user.
Window and Tab shortcuts:
Ctrl+N
– Opens a new window.
Ctrl+T
– Opens a new tab.
Ctrl+Shift+N
– Opens a new window in incognito mode.
Press Ctrl+O, then select file
– Opens a file from your computer in Google Chrome.
Ctrl+Shift+T
– Reopens the last tab you’ve closed. Google Chrome remembers the last 10 tabs you’ve closed.
Drag a link to a tab
– Opens the link in the tab.
Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+8
– Switches to the tab at the specified position number on the tab strip.
Ctrl+9
– Switches to the last tab.
Ctrl+Tab or Ctrl+PgDown
– Switches to the next tab.
Ctrl+Shift+Tab or Ctrl+PgUp
– Switches to the previous tab.
Alt+F4 or Ctrl + Shift + W
– Closes the current window.
Alt+Home
– Opens your homepage in your current window.
Ctrl+P
– Prints your current page.
Ctrl+S
– Saves your current page.
Ctrl+L or Alt+D
– Highlights the URL.
Ctrl+Enter
– Adds www. and .com to your input in the address bar and open the resulting URL.
Ctrl+Shift+J
– Opens Developer Tools.
Ctrl+Shift+M
– Switch between multiple users.
