Country is first in the world to make internet nookie illegal. THE Philippines has become the first country to make cybersex illegal.

Randy web-users now face a £3,700 fine and six months behind bars if they're caught engaging in net nookie.
The ban is part of a new Cybercrime Prevention Act that was this month signed into law by President Benigno Aquino.

Download the PDF file http://www.gov.ph/downloads/2012/09sep/20120912-RA-10175-BSA.pdf

*paranoid*  :o

There is no jurisprudence yet defining what constitutes cybersex.  If there is no law, there is no crime and no ex post facto law is allowed in the Philippines. If you are charged with cybersex, just ask the other lawyer to define what is "cybersex" and what is its extent.  Surely, di nya masasagot yan kaya any right thinking judge will just dismiss the case.

Interesting topic I am going to ask my people to look into this.

But my opinion this is pure waste of effort and resources.  How are you going to monitor that?

How do you predetermine the act of sex without violating privacy laws and illegally extending state spying to all citizens?  Is sexy time SMS, sex too?

My take is ultimately if this law is true (parang joke eh) this will be deemed unconstitutional.
