Seigneur Toblerone, there was a herbal soap that I used to buy at SM Supermarket for my dog (God rest his soul) and it did a pretty good job keeping fleas and ticks off him. I forgot the brand but your vet might have something like it at his or her clinic.

Also, I bathed my dog twice a week during the summer (he was a longhaired Canis philippinensis  ). I didn't powder him after his baths since the soap worked well enough for him.

For me i suggest using a tick and flea collar, its effective kasi sa dog namin. I forgot the brand pero yung gamit ko is yung pang effective for 7 months tapos water proof din sya. it costs around 350 pataas. I bought it dun sa pet store sa may SM cubao.

Nung una kasi tad tad sa tick yung aso ko and sinubukan ko sa kanya yung medicated na shampoo tapos may powder rin kaso wala effect eh, bumili pa nga ako ng gamot yung ini-spray sa mga singit singit sa sahig para mamatay yung tick pero ganun din. nung gumamit ako ng tick and flea collar eh since then hindi na sya nagkaron ulit. Hirap kaya mg tanggal ng kuto.. hehe.
