(Help!)40k multitasking & gaming rig.

Guy's ipapahinga ko na yung old Amd athlon 3000+ Rig ko. Balak ko sana bumuo ng bago. Baka matulungan nyo ko and  i need the ff.

Procie:
Mobo:
RAM:
Video Card:
PSU:
Casing:
Monitor:

I'm kinda eyeing for and i'5 Rig pero kung may better suggestions kayo feel free to tell me about it.. :D
will be using it mainly on movie editing, gaming (Call of Duty type of games). Yung tipong matagal tagal na ulet ako mag uupgrade.

my last RIG was bought nung 2006 pa. haha at eto un..

Procie: AMD athlon 3000+ running @ 2.2 ghz (air cooled)
Mobo: Epox 9NPA+Ultra
RAM: 2 gb (1x1gb kingston 1x512 Geil 1x512 1Gb kingston) :P DDR1
Video Card: Palit Geforce 6600 vanilla (replaced na ung fan ng DeepCool V4000)
PSU: 700 watts orion generic ( kapapalit lang neto nung december)
Casing: piece of crap
Monitor: AOC 17 inches CRT monitor (o_O)

nsa comp shop ako ngayon dahil 5 days ago nag fail na yung video card ko..at ayoko na palitan muna. Focus muna ako sa  bago..

1. video card - 7500
2. CPU - 5000
3. motherboard - 3000
4. PSU - 3000

hehe yep 30k to 40k is about around the mid range to high end, super high end is "2 arms and 2 legs price"

sir meron ka pa 13.6k para sa GPU - i would highly suggest get one of those next gen cards, but wait for awhile (siguro mga 2-3 weeks) until the dust settles, may nagaganap na presyohang labanan ang ati at nvidia ngayon hehe.

May mas mahal pa dyan 500k inabot super high end ng macintosh nabasa ko sa msn. Anyway kung ako siguro makakabuo na ako sa 40k ng super high end na cpu not desktoP ha yung canvass ko kasi. 17k mid level eh sa 40k pa kaya

TS failed to mention HDD nga pala. so probably alot na lang ng 2-3k for HDD.

Oo im currently torn into getting the Vulcan or a mid atx tower just for a change. Ibang klase kasi for a microatx yng Vulcan. Problema ko lang limitations sa Air HSF clearance ng side panel.

Pwede pa natin tapyasin yung sa mobo. Mas sexy lang para sa akin tignan ung MSI heatsinks at kulay nya haha.

Pwede rin natin gawin non modular ung PSU mo makaka chop chop din sa price.

hmm, suggestions ko po is modular PSU, since you have the budget, go for the optimal parts you can ever get here in the philippines.

add some more ram, maybe like 6GB due to rendering and gaming purposes.

buy a decent video card (5850/5770) and your movie rendering will be flawless  toast::

yeah ok lang 5gb if for more rendering and editing purposes, mura na now ang DDR3, a year later HALF of last years prices na lang so im considering an 8gb push by june, i mostly convert HD or DVD rip videos for mobile play and medyo taking pa rin sa 4gb quad core kaya im considering getting another 4gb... $39 na lang kasi yung ram ko now

and modular PSU is a must for an mATX case like the Inwin DS dahil sa space restrictions

heres a good suggestion, Get a Phenom X4 either 955, 965 or 975 then get a cheap AM3 or even AM2+ motherboard that can handle the newer Phenom 2s and pagdating ng Bulldozer by the end of 2011 change Motherboard since current Phenom 2s and Athlon 2s that are AM3 based can go on the newer AM3+ MoBos tapos pagiupunan mo na lang yung pamalit na Bulldozer CPU, hehe thats what im plannin, 1 year old pa lang yung rig ko kaya im not rushing into an all out upgrade when bulldozer comes out, step by setp

ok yung suggestion ni Masterchief, kaya take advantage of the Phenom X2 555BE (Aka B55). Kasi cheaper sya than getting a new phenom x4, and more fun with overclocking  laffman:: merong asrock na cheapo for 3k na may UCC ( unlocking core capability)

At lis pag nag bulldozer na d ka masyado manghihinayang, for example bmli ka ngayon ng Phenom x6 tapos sa summer me Bulldozer na pala, di ba?
