Inspiring or Confusing??? Hehehe,
This is inspiring as I have almost the same belief about advises and about giving them to others.
Experience is the greatest teacher one can have. Our experiences either teach us to do better next time or break our spirits. Family and friends are often there to support us and tell us what to do in times of confusion. But the thing is, no matter how many answers are offered to you, there could only be one answer. Your own answer. Because you're the only one who knows the situation or has experienced that specific situation.
It's like when you're eating chocolate ice cream which is your favorite flavor. A friend is eating strawberry ice cream on the other hand. He tells you to give it a try because it's good based on his experience. You agree that it looks good, but would you give it a try? You may or may not, right? You may even make strawberry flavor your favorite.
Point is, you may take the advises of other people, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to apply it to your situation. It's always up to you in the end. It'll be your choice.
At the end of the day, we have the answers to our own problems. We just have to be brave enough to face the consequences right after.
