mga 30 mins ago my bfs mom texted me asking if i am with A (my bf). sabi ko no, i thought hes in the office. somebody texted her that A is in the hospital and asking for 200php load. hindi din sumasagot sa calls at text ang bf ko so nagaalala na sila. although i already got a hint that this is a scam i just cant dismiss it just like that.
so i asked for the number that A supposed to use to contact them and called it. mga 3 rings sumagot agad. kinonfirm ni other guy on the line that indeed A is in the hospital. so i asked him anong pangalan ng pasyente. sabi nya di nya alam kasi daw sinasalinan pa daw ng dugo sa ER so mejo natakot ako. tapos naginquire pa ako further saang ospital dinala. sa DMC daw (how clever). tapos tinanung ko san banda ang DMC. hindi nakasagot. ok.san ka na lang ba ngayon. sa cebu city daw . great! im in manila! before i end the call sabi ko pakihintay ang 500load plus 1000 gcash.
after ko makipaggaguhan i called As mom to tell her that it is indeed a fake emergency and she need not to worry anymore. but while doing that nagbreakdown na ako. umiyak talaga ako. ako pa pinacify nila.
hindi ko sinabi na hindi kami naguusap ng bf ko dahil may tampuhan kami. and i realized right there and then what the hell is the gap for. what if something like this happened in real life. pano kung nawala nga sya agad ng di kami nagkakaayos.
to mr scammer where ever you are you taught me the greatest lesson of all: life is too short dont make it complicated. you gave me mental anguish. i gave you false hope. its a win-win situation.
