A newbie on anything that runs on wheels.

What's gonna be your advice for a newbie like me on buying their first car. I mean all of us here wants a car of our own. So to those who already have, what advices will you impart our fellow espiyas out there wanting to drive the wheel.

 - mileage
 - price
 - condition
 - purpose
 - etc.

re-sale price after 5 or 6 years mostly Japanese Cars worth a lot ( if your in US )

Honda / Acura

Toyota / Lexus

Nissan / Infinity

i live in a province typhoon/flood prone typhoon area. people learned here. so if your like me. i get a higher vehicle, compact crossovers/suvs. depending on your area.
