Me chief.I'm quite fond of flacs.

simple lg setup ko: pc : Asus Sonar STX Essence + M-Audio Studiophile AV40.
pmp: Sony Walkman X + Grado MS1i kaso sinell ko wala cash stuck to stock iems.

I use an application called Play to play my flac files here in my 17in macbook pro. Any other suggestion of a better software?

May somewhat similar thread ako tungkol sa FLACs (http://espiya.net/forum/index.php/topic,137178.msg1100419.html#msg1100419) pero problem ko with it is hindi compatible sa iTunes meaning hindi ko malipat-lipat sa phone ko ang mga paborito kong FLACs at lagi na lang nasa PC. Hindi ako mahilig magplay ng music sa PC. May nakasubok na ba ng Apple Lossless file format? Any difference from FLAC?

I can't answer directly since i only play flacs on my pc.
My walkman X doesn't play flac only mp4 :(

Sa Demonoid lang din ako naghahanap. Hindi masyado malawak ang resources pero will do for now. Salamat sa forum maspatatas, naglulurk ako kanina buti di na kailangan pang magregister. Hindi pa naman ako desperate makahanap ng sagot pero kung sakaling aabot sa ganun at least alam ko na san lumapit.

Malamang mapapahiya lang ako sa mga audiophile dun. Logitech at Beats* lang gamit ko.
* #1 hated headset ng mga audiophile, mahal nga puro lang naman bass at walang noise-cancel

Don't you know na highly recommended dun ang dac from CD-Rking na 1k lg price vs high profile na 5k minimum price?
Anyway if you want hard to find items, nice reviews of audio equipments you are planning to buy they could help.
Me mini-eyeballs pa sila or meetups wherein you can try their gears/audition it.

hindi din ako makaka 50posts dun.. so malamang kelan pa ako magkakaron ng access dun.
unless maging less strict sila ng konti. medjo mahirap din talaga ang albums sa torrents noh? anong cdrking product pala yung sinasabi mo? para mahanap ko sa website nila..

Encore Enma chief.Highly recommended yan according to most enthusiast there.
cost 900-1k at CD-RKING and kaya nya daw makipagsabayan sa mga expensive Dacs.
USB dac sya excellent for speakers daw

@madcarabao: wala silang torrent..but most of their downloadables are uploaded into filesonic and fileserve..what is good in this site is that most of their posts are discographies of a band or of an artist..

I bought my Asus Xonar from Tipidpc kaso galing singapore pa.
Price on tipidpc brandnew ranges from around 9k to 10k max.
then I got my M-Audio AV40 2nd hand lg for 7k sa Ayosdito.ph, brand cost around 9k meron ata ngbebenta neto sa Megamall sa JBAudio ata yun.a great pair.

i am contemplating on getting this DAC, however i am not sure if it will work fine with my receiver. i have a kenwood krf-v5500d. would i be connecting it to the analog port via a mini-stereo RCA cable? malaki ba difference nito as opposed sa direct to laptop ang connection to the receiver? i mainly use IPOD kasi for music when at home. advice naman po sa mga experts at im planning to get one this afternoon.

According to most enthusiast vs pc/laptop built-in audio cards the difference is huge.
If me reciever ka naman chief in my own opinion no need to buy enough the siguro ang SQ ng receiver mo.
If you want a talaga Dac badly then this is a great choice.

cant see much difference pag gamit encore enma with my current setup. im using mini stereo to rca cables kasi, yun tingin ko na problem. will try to look for toslink and see if that route will give me much of a difference.

update lng po dito, went the TOSLINK route and pansin mo nga ang difference.
noob question, had downloaded FLAC and it seems one file lng lahat as opposed sa multiple files pag mp3 format. will i be able to jump to a particular track when using foobar?
ano advice na file format and download location (website) for high-quality copies for ipod?

i'll push this a little deeper at baka may makatulong. i have several flac files (gapless) which i want to be converted to individual files (tracks). is there a software to do just that? loving flac now.
bummer, downside is i cant get my 160GB ipod to work because of a drunk friend, natabig, ayun ayaw na magalaw. cant use it and cant even restore. shows some error code.

by the way, kelangan mo din ng matinong earphone/headphone/speaker para sa mga ganitong quality na files.
kung low quality gamit mo, low quality din ang labas ng sound. sayang lang..

Yep hardware pa din pero if me speakers/earphone ka kahit ave quality medyu nagiging okay na din if nakaflac ka.
Pansin ko pag panget hardwares mo pag medyu low volume okay lg naman kasi yung noise mahina din :D once you increase the volume dun nagiging obvious ang noise.

im using flac files playing sa car audio... un nga lang mahirap makahanap ng OPM na flac format...
