help about dvd rom

my problem is my laptop has a dvd-cdrw combo drive. but now, it won't read dvd and cd-rw cd's, but it can read normal cd. what could be the problem?

lahat ba ng klase ng dvd at cd-rw? kasi merong mga dvd-rom na namimili ng tatak na binabasa.

Or pwede ding madumi lang talaga.
