What to do if you lock your keys in the car

I still have to try this.

 

 

 
Locked your keys in your car ? Did you know this? Good thing to know. If
you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call
someone on your (or someone else's) cell phone.

Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car's front windshield, or
dash and have the other person at your home press the unlock button of
your key fob (clicker), holding it near the phone on their end. Your car
doors will unlock. It saves someone from having to drive your keys to
you.

Distance is no object you could be hundreds of miles away, and if you
can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can
unlock the doors (or the trunk!).

   Eh , Miss, susubukan ko sana ... na lock ko yung kotse ... nung hinahanap ko na yung cell ko,
na pansin ko nasa likod na upuan ... madilim pa naman at umuulan ... nag panic ako ...'di ko alam ang gagawin ko ! 
   Buti na lang na realize ko ... nasa loob pa pala ako ng kotse ... wasted lang ako ! suerte !

this does not work.  Fundamentally, your referring to 2 different technology, one is either an RF or Infrared and the other is gsm/cdma...

I tried this, out of curiosity... and its not working.  Actually there is a whole thread of this in tsikot.com...

pasensya na. di ko ma gets. ako kasi yun remote ang gamit ko pang lock ng kotse. sa tingin ko lahat kayo ganun din. so pano mangyayari yung maiwan ang susi sa loob ng kotse??

i dont usually detach remote controller from my ignition key..
so it wont be feasible enough to lock my keys in..
though..nice info..just dunno if it really works..but how it could?
RF can be transmitted through GSM?

mga tol its possible na maiwan mo susi sa kotse mo and its lock kahit na remote pa,kasi sometimes we forgot our key inside our car and sometimes there are cars na auto lock kaya ayun kahit naka andar pa yung car naka lock naman,may nakita na akong ganito mga tol sa kaibigan ko nangyari nakalimutan nya yung key nya sa ignition so napansin na lang namin na umaandar yung car nya pero nakalock ang door buti na lang nadala nya spare key nasa wife nya..well anyway try ko to bukas titingnan ko kung talagang magwork to...kaso if my spare key is left at home and my key is lock inside my car paano makuha yung spare key eh naka attach din dun ang duplicate ng susi sa bahay,yari pa rin ako,lolz

pagawa kayo lagi ng keycard para pde ipasok sa wallet. para kung malock yung susi sa kotse, meron sa wallet spare hehe

nakita ko na to minsan sa isang video ng defcon.ang specialty nung isang hacker ay infra and RF,it really worked,na-hack nga nya yung isang hotel sa las vegas using only the remote control of the tv dun sa demo nya.ang hindi ko lang alam eh kung applicable pa ba sya ngayon.
